And this is why the Hulk saved Tony in the Avengers. It’s why Bruce, who usually shies away from human contact for fear of hurting people, can hug Tony so easily in IW. Because Tony has always had fanboy levels of excitement around both Bruce and the Hulk. Never fear. And he respects them both. Do we realize Bruce could have only worn one of Tony’s suits because Tony’s protocols allowed it? He doesn’t trust just anyone with his suits. That’s his bro. IM3 dropped the ball on their friendship but I hope we get to see more of it. And that was my Ted Talk.

You know, it bugs me that Hulk didn’t get sequels like Cap, Tony, and Thor. People just aren’t as interested in a giant rage monster I guess. “Hulk smash” gets old. But I think the real problem is that the MCU is all action films.

Give me serious drama called BANNER that follows Bruce the whole time, with minimal, if any, Hulkage. Let me me see the man instead of the supposed monster. I would pay a lot for that.

That’s what Edward Norton wanted for the Incredible Hulk film…and pretty much why that movie feels like two disjointed movies smashed together. He quit playing Banner over differences with the studio because he wanted an introspective Bruce Banner study and Universal wanted a monster movie.
