Looking back my art style has changed a lot since then

I don’t really play Sky anymore but I still love these Sky kids dearly and couldn’t stop drawing them but all my art never got past the polishing stage to post haha (life sucks to the point where nothing is really enjoyable anymore even art since you’re too drained by the time you get home and have no energy to do anything but doomscroll)

Was trying to light my friends when this bug occured

It didn’t matter which star I pressed it would always zoom out (there was another angle where it would zoom out to the sea)

The bug went away after I went into aviary and finished lighting my friend there

Kinda cool but I wonder what triggered this

I wanted perfect pictures with the spirits, so I ended up with multiple pictures of them

Wouldn’t recommend doing this tho, I had to restart the game multiple times because they’d immediately force you to find the next spirit once you click the camera button and it’s so tedious (╯‵□′)╯︵┻━┻

Wish we could take multiple pictures before moving on to the next spirit

I’m not sure how this information would be useful but I just found out if you use the white candle in your friend’s friendship tree to do the light candles quest with it the candles lit would count as the candles lit by your friend despite you holding the white candle

Is this a bug or a feature? Has anyone else encountered it? How long has this been a thing??

Also I just realised I haven’t got back to the question on that one edit I made ages ago so I’m so sorry dude! Life has been busy but I’ll come around to it soon, I just need to clear some of my storage so capcut wouldn’t make a fuss about insufficient storage and refuse to let me edit the tutorial 💢:)

The witch of the rose garden

I loved the rose garden from the season of the little prince, but I never had the time to create fanart while the season was still ongoing so I decided to create an edit of it and merging it with my new favourite cosmetic: the witch hat!

I’ve always wanted to try out video editing, especially after seeing those douyin (this is embarrassing) and some well edited sky cotl mini movies/series on YouTube like Blue Winter, so here we are!

Being the broke and candle stingy sky kid, I had to go back and forth the cackling crab to get that witch hat spell and spider web cape while my second account stays at the rose garden as a checkpoint for my return

Also here’s a little trivia: I originally created a second account to film sky cotl mini movies/series! It’s just I suck at writing scripts and stories, too shy to ask my friends to be my movie/series actor, so I never made any sky cotl mini movies/series lol

Another trivia: the come little children shot, I didn’t have any friends online to help me play the moth so I had to film the witch and the moth separately, overlay them on top of each other and use remove background and mask in capcut to produce a decent looking result

Part 1

Oh yea about this spirit

When I first landed near this spirit the moth spammed honk which made me think they got it already so I flew away

But turns out they meant “yes this spirit” and was waiting for me to let go of their hand 😭

When I finished showing them all the other spirits in prairie peaks and signalled them to go home with the follow me emote they stayed so I went back through the return shrine and found them flying back to this spirit and relieving it lmao

That reminds me of how I dare not let go of my friend’s hand when I was a moth, or maybe they didn’t know you could do that as they never let go of my hand themselves

I was testing out the new bird call in season of moments when this moth approached me

After exchanging a few honks, they offered me the candle

I think they wanted me to show me where to get the emotes I used as they used the pleading emote at me

Thus the kidnapping begun

I took them to all the spirits in prairie peaks

They showed me their new emote!

Also since we didn’t have chat, they spammed honks when I landed at a spirit they didn’t have and used the “no” emote when they’ve got the spirit already

They also deep honked at me when they’re done, which seems to signal me to give them my hand as I’ve never seen the moth follow and hold my hand themselves

Perhaps they didn’t know you could do that instead of waiting for your friend to offer their hand as I too was confused about this during my moth days

I’m running out of storage so I stopped taking pics from this point on but I also took them to the village of dreams, village theatre, harmony hall and the passage stones for the spirits

I think they were also confused about the friendship emotes as they wouldn’t show up in the emote menu and would just stand there and try to show me the emotes lol

Also the moth fell trap to the skater girl in the village of dreams lmao, she’s an awesome moth bait but imagine the confusion the moth felt when this spirit gave them nothing besides a cutscene after skating around lol

I later took them to isle and to my surprise they’ve gotten the selfie emote and sassy stance already

After getting the piggyback emote I took them to the passage stones

Bad idea, as I forgot different progress in the quests meant different servers and I was spamming the teleport button just to try and guide them

I did manage to get into their server and meet up with them for a few seconds but we were quickly separated

In the end we met again in home and they showed me the rolling emote and football emote they found

I took out the sanctuary chair with the manta design to chat with them, told them I can’t help with the spirits in passage stones and suggested they search for tutorials on yt

We both decided to continue the search for spirits another day as both of us had to go, so let’s see how this turns out

Idk why my sky kid was on the ground after prompt 1 but ok

I’m telling you this is the hardest prompt of all when I first did this quest in beta, it took me so long to figure out what the entrance rocks were it’s embarrassing
