(Notes: I really liked how this piece turned out. I’ve been planning to make this for a few months and it helped me practice human anatomy lighting techniques. This piece is heavily inspired by Dino Buzzati’s “The Morning Visitor” (1967). Vera’s character greatly influenced me to create this piece, especially with her backstory and relationship with Yaroslav. I kinda like her, although her passivity toward her children’s abuse frustrates me, but that’s why I appreciate CaptainAngler’s story, as it sheds light on the complexities of these situations victims experience and helps educate others about them, including me lol.)
