At least we are under the same moon.

āThat amazing moment when you hear a song you havenāt heard in years and you still know every word.ā

Maybe she does. Maybe he does too. Some people never really leave each other, even after the silence starts.
Thereās never a time when sheās not running through his mind. Heās consumed by the thoughts and visions of her. Time and distance arenāt enough to keep her from him. He longs for her touch like a bee longs for the nectar of a flower. Itās more than just physical. There souls are connected as one. In a way that defies logic and explanation. He feels her in those quiet moments. In the stillness of his sleep. Sheās in every song that stirs a memory in his heart. And every sunrise/ sunset that leaves him aching for her touch. He craves the sound of her voice. The softness of her touch. And , how her gentle presence calms the chaos in his mind. Sheās lingers in all of his senses. The scent of jasmine reminds him of her hair. The taste of wine reminds him of her kisses. Like a memory that canāt be washed away. And, when he finally does hold her, the world around him fades away. Because, to him, sheās much more than lust and desire. She is home. Sheās temptation, peace, joy and longing all wrapped in a beautiful soul that he loves spending a lifetime rediscovering.
Thanks @unwrappingthemystery for your beautiful post an inspiration. Iām grateful and honored, as always āš¼ā¤ļøšāļø
She reaches out in the stillness, in the darkness of night and runs the back of her hand slowly up and down his cheek.
He's always on her mind. Every second, of every moment, of every day. Did he eat. Is he feeling okay. How's work going. Did he pack an umbrella. Is he getting enough rest. Does he need alone time. Is he stressed about anything. What is he stressed about. Did we cause the stress by looking after him. What can we do to help him feel better. Does he need more love and affection. Is he hurting. Is he sick. Is he happy. Is he loving the small little jokes we say, the texts we leave, the cherished moments we have.
Does he feel all the love inside we have, feel and give to him.
A woman's superpower is her nurturing side. Not because he needs someone to look after him. But because she loves him with all her heart and soul.
So yes, sometimes she wonders. It's only because she wants to make sure he feels truly loved, and that he wants to share those deepest parts of her love too.
It's why women are overthinkers. We want to love deeply and be loved deeply in return.
So next time you wonder why she's fussing after you, or you wonder why she's irritating you with questions....above is why...šāØ
May you smile and chase pain and rain clouds away today...šāØ
kinda miss being a child and wondering why the moon follows me
