things in world of warcraft that bother me day 1

the fact that ever since burning crusade, blizzard has progressively turned the blood elves into a joke. they are constantly being narrowed down to the “self-absorbed millennial Instagram selfie-sluts” as people would prolly call it

every time we get anything new with blood elves, they are always wearing expensive ass glasses, taking selfies, being generally super cringy, the dudes are constantly described as “omg so fabulous!!!” for some fucking reason????

while at the same time, they barely get any lore whatsoever anymore. we dont have any clue on whats going on in silvermoon and quel’thalas?? are they still fighting off undead?? it’s been so long?? are they still rebuilding?? whats everyone doing? the little lore they do get is only to further other characters lore, and not actually their own. (Such as Lor’themar greeting the nightborne)

And it just contributes to them being seen as jokes, “gay! omg so fab!! xDD” and “you only play them because its a pretty race” and im just so tired of it
