Deliberately, Edward never allowed much time to pass between visits with his family. After spending roughly one hundred years with them, he supposed it was only natural to miss them after only a brief time apart.
He had also just purchased a brand new Aston Martin and Edward was positive that Rosalie would love to see itโฆ and be the first person to take a ride in it. Speeding into the driveway of Rosalieโs home, Edward knew that his sister would hear the idling engine and immediately be drawn out. When his prediction was correct, Edward smiled, and paid little attention to the thoughts running through Rosalieโs mind. โI bought a car,โ Edward said, stating the obvious. โI could use a mechanic to look over it. I could also use someone to take it for a spin with me. I was thinking a Mount Baker road trip,โ Edward offered.
Composing music had always been one of Edwardโs greatest passions. Music was a love that was deep and soulful for him, as it had been for decades. Although he had always done it privately, the privacy โ an ironic statement considering the internet โ that an alias provided was the first time Edward allowed himself to compose as a career. There was some sorrow in allowing others to play his music, of course, but for a vampire, few things came without cost. Even his love for Bella had a price โ her mortality, her soul, although Edward knew that conversation was pointless. Besides, for Nessie, it was all worth it in the end.
Currently, Edward sat at the piano in their home, working on a new piece inspired by his family. That was a song he would never sell, like many he composed for Bella and Renesmee. โBella,โ he said, his fingers continuing to move over the keys as she entered the room. Edward looked at his wife with a warm smile as he said, โYou look exquisite as always.โ Occasionally, he missed the flush in her cheeks, but Edward cherished a hundred lifetimes far more than he missed Bellaโs warmth and clumsiness. โIโm working on a song for you,โ Edward said. โBut that can wait if youโd like to go on an adventure. We could run to Yosemite,โ he suggested.

now, for the past 20 years edward has remained deeply in love with bella and obsessed with his daughter. they have a very happy family with the cullens and he would do anything for them! duh
in seattle, edward ended up a pianist and is exploring some of his abilities with music which he loves (specifically composing) all the while using a different name for composing purposes to be safe! he doesnโt play live often, if ever, to protect his family.
obviously, edward has also continued to advance his education in other ways, specifically of the arts since nessie has taken a special liking to them. heโs drawn more, he tried writing poetry, the works!
he also spent a while traveling around with bella showing her all the best places he loved throughout his century.
now that edward has his family, heโs much happier, like he was in breaking dawn, but he occasionally has some depressive episodes. heโs struggled for a long time with who and what he is, largely because of religion, and despite loving his life, that doesnโt magically go away.
