Here I lay.

Here I lay into this night, Thinking of all the possibilities it could of ended.

Would you still know me now?

Would I be the same as I am?

Are you still alive?

Would you hate me if you saw me again?

Not even God knows…

It’s easier, but the easier it gets the more questions I have. What were you saying? I couldn’t hear your voice over the noise of the world around me, moving on as I was moving back in time.

Where are you now, Junkie?

Are you chasing your dreams?

Or are you thinking of me too?

I still remember your touch and your scent, it hurts me to do so and still every night I wake up from the memories you had created.

But still the pain isn’t enough to stop me from thinking deep into the night about everything you did and said, how none of what you said to me was true it gets more painful the more I see the details of your orange-red eyes and your deep blue lips that promised I wouldn’t be hurt.

You lied

And yet here I am still laying here.
