Happy Snowman || Elsa & Olaf
Elsa was fairly certain she knew every line of this movie backwards and forwards because, coincidentally, it had been her favorite movie when she was little too. She looked over at Olaf and realized for the first time that while her powers were connected to her subconscious and emotions, that didnât mean it was all bad. Olaf came from the part of her that longed for things to go back the way they were before Annaâs accident. He came from the childlike, not-so-prim-and-proper part of her. She built him with such control over her powers it made her think that maybe - maybe- she could gain complete control over them once again.
She gave him a small smile and tucked her legs beneath her. Would everyone freak out upon seeing him? Would it really be that weird at for a primarily wizarding community to see a talking, walking snowman? Maybe not.
âOlaf?â She glanced over at him, picking up his puppy counterpart and placing him on her lap. âAfter you meet WillâŠIâll let you come to the ball. But you have to promise me that youâll be on your best behavior and stay where I can see you at all times, okay? And you canât tell anyone that I made you.â Elsa smiled at him, knowing that command fell on deaf ears and Olaf would more than likely get into something at the ball, but whatever. it was Christmas, after all.
Elsa looked down at the Maltese puppy in her lap. She and Anna had named him after the snowman they created as a child. But now that that snowman sat to her right, they might need to come up with a new name. âWe should rename him, donât you think?â She looked at Olaf, âWhat should we name him?â
Olaf gasped again and placed his hands on each side of his face. He could really go? That was so exciting! Elsa really was the kindest and warmest person he knew. âYay!â He shouted, bouncing in his seat. There would be so many people there! New people!
He tried to calm down when Doggy Olaf came up on the couch; Doggy Olaf liked to lick his face and it tickled. He didnât want to be tickled. âOh! We can name him William!â Olaf exclaimed, almost starting to bounce again. He stopped himself before Doggy Olaf/William got excited too. âIt really is a nice name.â
He jumped up on the couch again, excited for the party. He had never been to a party. âDo I get a present?â He asked, not knowing how this worked. But he knew that presents were part of Christmas. âAnd one of those hats! I like those hats. The red ones with the white puffball at the end.â He mimed the hat as best as he could. âI really want one.â
