i know they’re problematic, tate is literally the spawn of evil (😭) BUT i just can’t help but want a relationship like theirs. he’d literally do anything and everything to protect violet. he didn’t want to see her die, he loved her so much. i love the way they connected. WHY DOES HE HAVE TO BE LIKE THIS.. UGH.

IDFK. i wish someone loved me like tate, genuinely i’d love a devoted partner. for me, i’m always tje one who’s devoted—no one ever reciprocates it. can my next relationship be like this… like omgg.

one of my favorite headcanons is that some time after elizabeth broke up with ramona she wanted her back. she wrote letters expressing how much she missed her, expressing regret at how things went down, describing how painful ramona's betrayal was but perhaps also apologizing for the neglect from her side that preceded it, and sent them to her parents' house.

but she never got a response. one time she even showed up there in person, asking if ramona was home, asking if they could talk. but her parents told her not to ever return there again. and so elizabeth got the message and tried to leave ramona be.

what she didn't know was that ramona had never received any of those letters. her parents had hidden them away and never told her about them. they never told her about elizabeth's visit either.

all these years ramona thought elizabeth hated her (for no reason, or at least reasons she didn't understand, couldn't figure out), had fallen out of love with her and still dragged her along until she killed her chance of moving on and then finally tossed her aside. but elizabeth never stopped loving her. she killed her homewrecker boy toy and broke up with her because she felt betrayed, but she never stopped loving her. she never even hated her. even when ramona tried to kill her and her babies, she still wanted to be with her. two words: down bad.

elizabeth finally tells ramona about those letters some time after she died. ramona doesn't believe her, but goes back to her parents' house to look for them and there they are. elizabeth never stopped loving her.
