The people Mildred meets in Ireland are her grandparents.
Katrina is actually Mildred’s stepmother.
The boy is her brother.
Octavos was cruel to Mildred, because he reminded Eliza. She is the spitting image of her mother.
Octavos used to like Muggles.
Octavos and his children were shunned by his family. Even after he stopped associating with Muggles.
He considered leaving Mildred on a church’s doorstep, but could not do it.
Nolan comes home for Mildred and Poppy’s birthday to surprise them.
Poppy’s middle name is Annalee, because it is a mix of Belle, Mckenna, and Marilee, Nolan’s mother’s name.
Millie discovers that she is pregnant with twin boys soon after Nolan’s visit ends.
Nathan is their Godfather.
Poppy warms up to them easily.
Stanton fell in love with Mildred, but she breaks his heart. His love is unrequited.
Nolan’s plane crashes. He is severely injured, but recovers. He is unable to return to the military.
Mildred met her brother Isaac after he came to university.
The two are very close.
Isaac meets Belle, and it is love at first sight.
By the time Mildred graduates she has four children.
She has the other five in in the next eight years.
When Poppy goes to Hogwarts, her mother has been Potions Master for two years.
