When Will Traynor meets with a terrible accident and loses his ability to stand and walk, he also loses his will to live.

6 months is all he is willing to give to his parents before he ends his misery.

Louisa clarke , hired as his caretaker, is determined to make him go back on his decision and want to live.

It's a story about how two people, with nothing in common go from being barely able to stand each other to having a deep bond. It's about how they challenge each other and make each other laugh. He makes her see that there is a world worth exploring outside the walls of her town.
