When it’s 2018 and people are still making “just like rika!!11!” jokes and it’s almost as if they never played past the first 2 days your route

When the majority of the fandom seems to ignore the fact that you risked your life and even got blinded to keep them safe but they only remember the “just like rika” parts of your route

When the fandom ignores how you decided to do better in school and despite being blinded you continued your studies and even graduated before the rest of your peers

When the fandom gets mad at you for being the only member of the RFA suspicious of V even though you are 100% correct about not trusting V because lo and behold he was hiding some serious shit from the RFA

When the fandom hates you just because of your association with Rika and they can’t comprehend how big of a positive impact she had on your life and how you were unaware of her crimes because V kept fucking everything a secret from you

Did… Did YOU read V’s route? And Ray’s route? It’s made EXTREMELY clear (especially in Ray’s) that V was trying to protect both Rika from being punished for her actions and the “reputation” of the RFA (which, btw, isn’t even that successful an organization to begin with, but Rika made it so it’s sacred). He let god knows how many people being violently tortured and brainwashed (including the kids they were supposed to protect) for her, for months/years. Tell me again how any of that is… “Good”? Rika isn’t worth ANY of the suffering he turned a blind eye to. Not to mention that the most effective way to protect the RFA from Rika… Was to warn them about her (and preferably put her in jail). So, you know, she couldn’t do exactly what she did in the game.

Also, even if any of that was excusable (which it isn’t), how was Yoosung supposed to know that if V never told them anything? Heck, the entire RFA agrees V’s choices were bad the moment they discover what he did, but even before that, how is Yoosung a piece of shit for thinking that someone who is acting suspicious, IS suspicious? Not to mention that the moment V starts telling the truth in AS, Yoosung IMMEDIATELY starts being nicer to him and forgiving him. He just wanted the truth, which the entire RFA deserved.

okay so like both of this. i definitely don’t agree with V keeping everything a secret like he did and let countless people suffer because of the RFA and Rika and I don’t like how Yoosung is always comparing MC to Rika

but it seems like a lot of people dwindle the characters to just these traits when there’s more to them. now i’ve not played the game too much so i don’t know the whole story and all the endings and how it effects all of the characters but it seems like (as stated above) people forget Yoosung is more than a slightly obsessed with Rika and MC and that V just wanted to keep his friends and loved ones safe among other issues or problems V seems to have.

i really like the game because it has flawed characters that depending on which route you get either strive to become better or get worse and that you see people differently depending on the character you pursue. i feel like V is meant to look like the bad guy for Yoosungs route because that’s how Yoosung sees him whereas in Vs route you see him how he sees himself and the one i got was a self sacrificing person who made bad decisions but had good intentions.

i haven’t played much of Rays route so i can comment on how they’re seen in his but from what i know he’s got a lot of trauma and how you see V and the RFA as a whole is not in a good light because you’re seeing it as how he sees it and you get to know his experiences with the people

So first off Akaashi has at least 37 weakness of Bokuto's memorized,, my guess is that he's written this down in one place and memorized it but that's not my only evidence

So in the bottom right of that panel,,, Furudate is citing his resources,,, more specifically a method for a strong volleyball mentality (that isn't a exact translation but oh well)

Basically what I'm trying to say is two things. Akaashi reads books or articles on volleyball and that he can quote said books word for word.

In short Akaashi has a photographic memory or at least a really good memory,,,
