Their first impression: “Will you stop talking, asshole? You’re still talking. Shut the fuck up. Okay, now you’re pissing me off. Fuck off, dude or I will punch that smirk right off your handsome face.” Their current impression: “How did we end up from me punching him to deciding to get married? He’s one stubborn guy to put up with me pushing him back. Now that we’re together, though, I can’t imagine not having him with me. He’s truly my best friend.” What they like the most about your muse: “He never gives up on me. Even when I’m at my worst, he’s always right there with me every step of the way. He’s always been encouraging and supportive while I’ve been on this journey to get better. And he doesn’t judge me for my past mistakes.” What they dislike the most about your muse: “I don’t think there’s anything I outright dislike. He’s stubborn but I can’t dislike him for that. I’m just as bad, if not worse. What your muse is for them ( Friend, lover, rival ecc.): “Fiance–can’t believe I’m actually saying that. Their current impression: “I see why I fell in love with him the first time. It’s so strange loving someone and not remembering why or how it happened, though. I’m still in shock that we happened to both be at the hospital that day and he found me.”   

What they like the most about your muse: “He’s got a hell of a lot of patience. He’s been so patient while I figure out my feelings and try and piece together all that happened. He’s never gotten frustrated with me over it or tried to push me.” 

What they dislike the most about your muse: “I still wish he had tried to find me after I lost my memory. I understand why he didn’t and I know he was trying to get me help, but still.”

A sinking feeling settled in the pit of her stomach as she listened to the Seraph officer standing outside the door. It took all her strength not to collapse in the doorway. Everything the man said, had become white noise. The only words that resonated with her were, “…your cousin, Laelia Kensley was found dead last evening”. After a moment of standing there motionless and the Seraph officer attempting to ask her questions, she shook her head at him and went inside the house and shut the door. Pressing her back against the door, she slid down slowly onto the floor and put her head on her knees, rapid breaths beginning to fill her lungs. A high pitched scream escaped her mouth; she was angry and heartbroken all at the same time. At that moment, she didn’t want to be alive. She didn’t want to feel anything. She needed to make it stop hurting.

💎- A precious memory they hold dear

They’d walked a long distance from Ebonhawke–Markus had told her he wanted to take her somewhere. Some place that was special to him. That alone, made the whole thing more memorable. They went through a series of brambles and thick brush before they came to a small cave. Passing through the other side, they entered a secluded clearing. Unlike the rest of their homeland, there were green trees and soft green grass and flowers. It hadn’t been long that they’d been reunited and things were still a bit strange for her. It was strange knowing you had loved someone but not remembering who they were. He had been incredibly patient with her. Probably more than she deserved and she was beginning to understand why she’d fallen in love with him in the first place. She’d felt so uncertain about it all. She still did, but she was beginning to feel less and less. Things felt right and she knew even if she tried to run from her own fear and self-doubt, he wouldn’t easily let her. There was something comforting about that. 

“I love you.” It was whispered, but she knew he’d heard her. Seeing his eyes soften and his smile warm in response as he murmured the words back was something she would remember.

“I’m pretty sure Markus has sacrificed way more for me than I have for him. He’d probably not agree with me but it’s the truth. He lost a hand, countless hours of sleep and probably more cause of me.”
