imagining yan harv meeting his darling before the accident in some courtroom and fixating on you there before forgetting and getting caught up in recovery and crime. then he finally sees you again on some job or smth and just the happiness of before comes flooding back at the sight of his darling bc that’s the reminder of what he once had, so he connects his very chance to happiness with his darling. maybe he gets his goons to chase you on a night where batman is busy so harv can conveniently be there to play the hero, even if he’s only ever been a rogue. maybe he sets up a fund to buy you stuff before he kidnaps you… a nice apartment with security systems only he has the code to, pretty outfits, anything you could want. an entire empire, at your feet. at least, as long as you never leave..
he’d hate to take all that away after he worked so hard, after all

I soooo agree, I think in order for Harvey AND Harv to be on the same page about you, you'd have to come before his accident. Perhaps you were once a paralegal or secretary for his DA office? You're still so innocent and sweet, so oblivious to the horrors of the world. He needs someone like you on his side, someone he can trust who believes in the true justice he wants to bring.
You're still exactly where he left you at the office, so he'll have his goons pay you a visit. They break in after hours and try to steal documents about the Penguin case the current DA is building. You barely make it out of the building before one of them notices you're still there, and you bolt. He starts to chase you through the back alley of the courthouse, demanding to know where the rest of the case files are. Just as the goon grabs you, a shot fires off, and he falls limp on the floor next to you.
You look up to see your savior approaching you with the smoking gun as he kicks the goon to the side.
"Harvey..." You hadn't seen or heard from him since the accident. "What...What are you doing here?"
"It's your lucky day, sweetheart," he smirks with all of his teeth. His voice is low and gravely, practically a growl ripping through his throat with each syllable. It wasn't Harvey speaking to you. "I'm here for you. I've missed ya."
The coin is rolling over his knuckles as he pockets the gun.
"Heads, you come home with me. Tails, you take me upstairs to my old office and fool around like we used to. I'll even take you home after."
His left hand flips his coin and holds it over his right hand.
"Your call, sweet thing."
