I am so sorry that I take so long to post another chapter. I don’t want to make more promises I cannot keep, so I won't set myself up with a time frame rn. As explanation I am ace (and pan) so sometimes I feel the need to write smut and sometimes I really don't. Right now I have a phase where I just do not feel it and I can't force myself to write in this unbearable heat, with no drive at all. I am so sorry you guys :(
My Preps Headcanons.
Derby is extremely PR trained. Like you’d be surprised given the things he says in the game but I feel like he knows very well who he has and doesn't have to have a filter with. The moment he’s in public his whole demeanor changes, you'd even think he’s a nice person.
Derby and Tad are the most cartoon-like rivals. And their dislike for each other doesn't even have a reason, it's not like their hate for the greasers, they just don't like each other. So they constantly clash over the most dumb stuff ever, like once they started an argument because Derby didn't like the sound of Tad’s breathing. Bif and Gord always have to separate them before they start something similar to a cat fight.
Despite Derby and Tad’s disdain for each other, they pair up every time they need a good strategy because they're the most competent preps.
Bif is a dancer, a ballet dancer, he did it alongside boxing up until he was a teenager and had to leave it because of social rejection. This also ties to my idea that Bif runs like Chris Evans (yk the thing about he having perfect running form?) like he's very good at it because of the coordination dancing gave him. He still tries to hit moves in the secrecy of his room.
Pinky and Gord have tried to convince all of the preps to let them install a wig on them, only succeeding with Justin, Parker and Bif (He looked like Zoe).
Most of the preps try to keep rigorous diets, not strict, but they have in mind what they pick to eat, they don’t like the image that it would give to not be in good shape and i feel like most of them have poor metabolisms. Except Justin and Bif, those two could order the entire menu when they go out and burn it out on a day.
Justin and Derby are actually really good friends, Derby even consents Justin blabblering about the jocks (although he knows Ted won't look on the others direction in a million years)
Parker's constantly running late, even if he always arrives on time, he still has to run everywhere, no matter how hard he tries he’s always on the verge of being late. He's started to feel bad, but he can't help it. He could leave an hour early and still have to run wherever he needs to be.
Chad and Bryce have started going out on “secret” dates (everyone knows they're not so slick) after Gord and Pinky insisted on them to confess their real feelings for each other

For a good while now I have been stuck in the mindset of 'no silly/tropy writing'. Without me actually noticing, I police my own writing so much for having clichés but... that is what fanfiction is for. To explore, have fun, be cringe and explore tropes. It's okay as long as everyone is having fun, especially you as a writer, then that is all that matters. It's easy to manipulate youself with expectations of perfection. I have noticed aswell that I do tend to stay away from know phrases or actions because AI has ruined them. But then I have to remind myself that AI is just picking up on trends in writing it copies and that it is okay to use a common phrase. They have earned their worth and AI shouldn't deminish and overshadow loved tropes. Well then, my little rant is over. I just wanted to get this off my chest, for me and for every writer out there who is overthinking it. We are the glue to our fandom. Don't let anyone tear you down and fuck AI!

I am still alive ya'll. I am currently working diligently on cleaning up my writing. I think I will post the Bif 2 fic in parts. I love the way the first chapter turned out omg. I will post it soon. Have these WIP's as a spoiler. Ignore any grammar mistake I have yet to go over this at least 3 more times. And I have a grammar browser extension that sometimes isn't very helpful.
