Bio context: my squids are sequential hermaphrodites who start off with no sex and then grow into one of 5 sexes based on environmental factors between the ages of 15-20, so they can reproduce sexually. They also start off as nasty baby birds that are smaller than their hosts and are fuckin useless for the first month of their life. (Book of Aberrations says their baby so i took that and ran)

ok pulled all my current wip "refs" for Diadem together into a single image. once i get through the last of my coms im going to finish a FUCK ton of oc refs and then get onto actual art of them >:) I have literally no nice art of my ocs minus that one bellos pic

FINALLY redid all of my Diadem art with his new design (thankfully it wasn't a lot) and I'm so happy. I don't know WHAT the fuck I was thinking, he was so ugly before. Anyway, here's every image I've drawn of him so far.

Almost every single one of these is me sketch concepting him still, especially the second to last one. I think that was the first pic I drew before I even knew what to do with him. At the time, my only idea was, "I want to cover this character's face, but I need a reason. Also, I love how snagally the emperor from The Dark Crystal's teeth are". Someday I'll draw something decent of him, but considering I made Bellos back in Feb of 24, and he only just got his first good pic like last month, it's going to be a while.

FINALLY finished him HOLY SHIT

Creed Master of the Oryndoll Abysmals and the only thing keeping the only non-Ulitharid member, and leader of the city, from being torn to pieces by the other council members. He still wants to tear Menanok apart but like, in a weird way. Unfortunately, I ran out of steam for his 3rd outfit, so he only gets two until I'm no longer burned out on refs (I've done 8 in the last 3 months!). He was SUPPOSED to be such a minor character in my Tav's backstory that he's not even mentioned by name, but I'm unemployed so tf else am I gonna do but think about OCs all day? Getting any ref is more than most of my characters get.

For the last few months, I've been OBSESSED with him, so I can't wait to actually get to draw something real with the plethora of art ideas I've thought up for him.

Went back to this one and made some edits, I like it a lot more now. Also got rid of that freak ass old man.
