All right folks, end of the year post!

We have officially made it through a whole calendar year for the Grinning Man Birthday Calendar! I want to thank everyone who’s participated!

What is the GMBC? Well, it’s just a fun thing for fans of The Grinning Man/The Man Who Laughs/L'Homme Qui Rit. I’ve gotten to know so many great people through TGM I just want to spread the love I’ve found through this community ❤

If you’d like to join, just send me an ask or a PM with the month and day of your birthday as well as the blog you’d like me to tag (preferably a blog you check fairly often). I’ll post a reminder a few days before the first birthday of each month. I’d hopefully like to just do a post that lists all the birthdays in that particular month, but for now, the master list of when everyone’s birthday is is linked in my pinned post. On the big day, I’ll either send an ask or, if you don’t have asks open, make a separate post and tag you in it. And you don’t have to follow me to join, but I do follow everyone who signs up.

This post is also a bit of a clean up/check in for the people who have already joined. If you would no longer like to be a part of the Grinning Man Birthday Calendar, just send me an ask or PM. man i watched this russian movie called On-Drakon and i really need a tgm au that’s either

a. obvs just the plot of the movie but with tgm characters...i feel like Gwyn would be the Involuntary Dragon in this case but some things would definitely need rearranged in order to work, or

b. just a big ol crossover purely because Osric would love Arman so much Osric would want that dude in his show Immediately, Osric would be hear “uncontrollably transforms into a murderous dragon” and would recruit that in a heartbeat. Arman and Gwyn could commiserate and Mira and Dea would be good friends. Arman could bond with both of them over a puppetry fascination. His weird little pet could be friends with Mojo. Josiana would hear “uncontrollably transforms into a murderous dragon hell-bent on incinerating love interest” and would immediately begin trying to make herself into a fullblown Problem for all involved, i mean

Modern Au where Ursus runs a weird little bookshop and Gwyns like a chaotic librarian and Dear has some kind of tea (she also does coffee) alchemy going on and they do little puppet shows every week to showcase weird old stories and they've been featured in like six different crime dramas due to having extremely cursed yet incredibly wholesome vibes
