When your 12 yr old son hands you a list of responsibilities that consist of- events , baking , purchases all due in the next 2 weeks. Hives? #twotoddlersintow

Absolute vent…..

I may be dramatic, overprotective , guarded, stand-offish , (if thats even a real word). I may be akward and the person that has an explanation or analysis for everything. But, I will always be 100% honest. Tell you the truth…good or bad. And , if you dont like what Im saying. Think Im being rude or mean. Guess what? You are not worth my time and Im telling you like it is. I dont waste time with lies. So here is your bandaid. And there is the door !

"I am a T Rex, Wee e" "Yikes!" " Dont worry I dont eat boys, just girls" "Well dude, Im a girl....So I better be careful." "No, you are my Dad" "Caleb, Im not your Dad" "Oh yeah, Dave is! Wait, who are you?"

When the bean sees a pink chair at Dunkin and screams ' Wee e, they got you yours own pink chair!"

On a hike w the bean. He can hear a plane in the far distance, but doesnt know thats the sound. He looks at me and says "that was my belly?" #4yrsold #toocute #kidsayings

The app that brought her joy

So , I have been watching this show called Life, with one of my favorite actors Damien Lewis. Long story short hes a believer of Zen and its a huge part of the show. Ive always been an intrigued Christian by Zen and the sayings. I will say words in general fasinate me.....so take that for what it is. Today I carried on and on AND ON... about having no time to actually hold a book and read. Little hands pulling at me 9 hrs a day, little voice piercing my eardrums, and constant demands along with .... freaking adorable sayings and actions. If Im going stay real. Anyway.... I discovered a joy that I have either been afraid to research or just too dorky to put together. The Audible app on my phone! I just dloaded a few Zen audible books... that I can listen to instead of having a child climb under , around ...and yes , on top of the physical book. You are either rolling your eyes or laughing hysterically because I have just discovered this all out. The woman holds a 700.00 phone in her hands and yet this is what she has JUST figured out! My own 2 boys gave me good clap and whoohoo! Then left the room , cracking up. Go on boys....laugh ! Mama is learning the art of Zen !

And two of them... even more so !
