Mercedes-Benz Biome Concept, 2010. A prototype that would be grown in a lab rather than built on a production line. Presented at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the proposal includes growing the vehicle from a material called BioFibre that would be lighter than metal or plastic, yet stronger than steel. The resulting car would weigh in at only 400 g. The Biome's futuristic fuel, BioNectar4534, would be stored within the BioFibre material and its only byproduct would be oxygen. The entire vehicle would also be completely biodegradable at the end of its life

Mercedes-AMG 300 GD, 1983. A one-off G-class that was customised by AMG for US Open tennis champion Ivan Lendl is to form part of a new show at the LA’s Petersen Museum. Lendle found the standard first generation G-Class too utilitarian and ask for it to be modified with the front end from a W116 S-Class sedan, AMG bumpers and bodykit, BBS wheels, blue leather Recaro seats and a custom paint job.

Carrozzeria Michelotti Spyders on Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Berlinetta 'Daytona' chassis. This example, #15003 was completed in 1976 (the donor car dated from 1972).
