Podhradie
Podhradie, city district of Bratislava, is an example of uncountable blending of different layers in development of the city. Layers of history, architecture, socio-economic relations and opinions are often making in individuals or society glorified and misty version of this place.
In relatively big non heterogeneous space, we can uncover individual fragments. Some of them coherently fits in each other, but some of them are in oposition. Howover, everything is a consequence of the choice of individual, city, nature, developer, society, goverment and together are making complex memory of this place.
In my project I try to uncover particular layers and offer it to detailed view. I do not want to propose nostalgic memories , but complex of facts, from which viewer can create his own picture of the site.
