My head is overflowing with thoughts I canât allow anyone to know about.
ĺă¨ăăŚćé¨ - âAbnormalizeâ (via sealko)
youâre allowed to find people unattractive but donât tell them that because it does absolutely nothing for anyone except make the person feel bad why is this such a hard thing to understand

Iâve been watching this for 5 minutes and giggling like an idiot.
Disparity.
The earth. This beautiful home of ours we deem a masterpiece of creation. High school geography taught us about the two antipodal sites on the geoid ; the poles. Those two focal points so central to the architecture of the shape. This concept of poles , one that of the two mutually exclusive points can be used metaphorically.
Polarity is the essence of the cosmos. Like the two sides of a coin, there cannot be one without the other yet they are exclusive. Male and female , darkness and light , heat and cold , life and death and the examples go on infinitely. Why does a river flow ? How does the wind blow ? What triggers lightning ? All these seemingly trivial yet wonderful phenomena of nature are all a result of that profound concept of disparity (be it in gravitational potential , pressure or electric potential to speak science). It is disparity that adds colour to all existence.
Difference is a word whose ubiquity has caused its rich meaning to be occluded. Although we humans are creatures of habit like most others on this planet , we seem to have a penchant for differences. âVariety is the spice of lifeâ is explanation enough for this. We love visiting new places, meeting new people, exploring things and so much more. A life without variations from ones routine is so very often labelled monotonous which is almost completely the synonym for boring today. Familiarity being the conjurer of contempt is loathed.
Having set that long a preface, letâs delve into the business end of the concept of disparity. Rich and poor , educated and non educated , clever and dull , strong and weak and so goes on the long list of haves and have nots. Most of the human efforts are and have been concentrated on abating such differences. Itâs all a quest to gain parity with the state deemed better. A poor manâs efforts are made in the direction of getting richer. A weaker man yearns and works towards being stronger. Meanwhile , the rich and strong men keep working to maintain their rather coveted states. Otherwise , what awaits them is a sour journey downhill. Itâs always the difference that makes them tick. Itâs what makes us tick. Gradients trigger actions. It is a cosmic law of sorts. So what of a world without disparity , without gradients ? Just as a river devoid of slope , things would just lose their flow and turn to a morbid state of stagnancy. And when there is no current in the water , it stays there , defiled by impurities innumerable. A world without disparities would simply be motionless and without progress. It is oneâs desire to be as good or better than another that creates all the hustle and adventure in the world. Without that , there simply wouldnât be a reason to work for and to look forward to. Tomorrow would simply be another word in the lexicon and would not hold the hopes and dreams it usually stands for.
A world where parity dominates would simply be too commie for everybodyâs liking and against natureâs laws.   Differences are an inevitable part of flow , which is central to the existence of the universe. It is that imbalance between the forces of nature and itâs balancing out that works the magic of existence. So easing out differences is well impossible. Also , would one ever want to do away with differences ? Given the generally self centred human nature , one would prefer to be richer , smarter and stronger than his neighbour any day.
We spoke earlier about the simple word difference and itâs lavish usage. Most of the time one uses the word , he does so implying only itâs superficial meaning. Little does he know and even lesser does he care to do so about its true , inner meaning that qualifies it as the reason for all action.
