This is my first cc ever so I wanted to do something kind of simple and easy to start off with, so here's a smallish 20's makeup set.
These are makeups meant for sims in the acting career. I don't know how useful this will actually be for anyone besides me lol, but I thought it would be nice to have some historically accurate makeup for my 1920's actor sim. These facepaints are probably a little bit of an exaggeration of what they really wore, but for the most part I tried to be accurate in colors used. This is a blog describing the exact techniques used in early film and what I based the facepaints on. I also added a pancake face swatch for slapstick actors.
If the facepaint is too much, I also added an eyeliner/overlay which is meant to give a bold and high contrast obvious silent film look without being a full-on facepaint. This is also meant mainly just for the acting career, but you can use it for daily wear too if you want to look a little odd.
The last part of the set are just some flapper style eyeshadows and lipsticks. You can use these in conjunction with the other parts of the set for a glamorous actress look, or just use them for casual wear. Fair warning though ☝️ the colorful swatches of the eyshadow can look kind of crazy on different skintones. I was able to make it look fine on the full scale of skintones by adjusting the opacity/darkness/saturation, just lyk that you have to fiddle with it a bit to look good. The lipsticks are totally fine though no fiddling necessary.
