The Summer I Turned Pretty (2022-2025), 3x10 - "Last Year"
Just finished Beyond the Bar and I actually loved it?? I remember not liking where it was going when I first started it but then I couldn’t help but look forward to the episodes because the cases were so interesting. Also unpopular opinion but I did like that for this show and plot, they didn’t make any unnecessary moves with the romance line. Looved the second lead couple though
First Frost hits so differently because of the way Sang Yan loves Wen Yifan. Each time Sang Yan moved with his actions and words, it’s in such a way that I would think only a woman would know how to love and say such things. But yet he entered the woman’s mind and knew exactly what and how to say and do things that would ease Wen Yifan’s mind. All these little unspoken things that Sang Yan just did and knew to acknowledge in a sensitive way. It’s things I wished a man would understand but accept they never will - and that was finally shown in this drama which I ironically haven’t seen in many dramas despite them being so idealistic.
I was so SO incredibly touched by this scene, got teary eyed and everything because how pure and unconditional truly is Sang Yan's love. And it makes me so happy to know that Yifan finally knows how deeply and unwaveringly she's loved by him.

cutest boy 😭🫶
Did you memorize that? It was easy to remember. You're good. You have a knack for it.
Just finished the Fourth Wing series and oh my god as mid tier as the writing is the characters had me rooting for them so much that I’m now incredibly invested. Reading this fantasy romance reminded me of how much I loved the fantasy romance k-dramas like Alchemy of Souls and The King Eternal Monarch
Think I’ve seen so many of RC’s interviews at this point. Love RRR for existing with all the promotional content. The interviews with the 3 of them are absolutely hilarious, really hope RRR 2 is actually a thing
I’ve been going through an immense Ram Charan fixation yet again in my life so if anyone understands this please join me

kim sanha and juwon…y’all are too cute get outta here 😭 why do they simply make so much sense together
why does family by choice insist on making me cry every 2 seconds
FAMILY BY CHOICE 조립식 가족 episode 01, dir. Kim Seung Ho
The difference between Ju won's relationships with San Ha vs Hae Jun is that Hae Jun was a lot more charmed by ju won's dad. He was the one he looked at with awe and the final scene of him becoming a part of the family was a scene between the two of them, at the aunt's place. He wanted and chose Ju won's dad as his own and juwon's dad chose and accepted him as a son.
For San Ha, it's all about Ju won. She's the one who runs to him, deciding he is the oppa she wanted, she's the one running after him, asking him to be fed, play with him, and eventually, she's the one facing his mum and asking to "have" him. That scene (San ha's own scene of becoming part of the family) is lead by Ju Won.
Hae Jun's is Ju Won's brother because he is her dad's son. San Ha is the one she picked herself to be her family. It makes sense that their relationship is slightly different (and full of romantic potential)
This whole plot line in Family by Choice that Kim Sanha lost his younger sister, and he and his mom blame himself for it, so of course when he has a pseudo sister who he was raised with, OF COURSE he is going to want to protect her with his all since he doesn’t want to lose another family member because this is his second chance…and it fosters love in the meantime - ELITE. SUCH AN ELITE TROPE.
