Japan needs to up music albums. They’re so old fashion with the plastic CD cases and filmsy cheap paper. H!P definitely needs a new album art team; they literally look the same and like they made them back in 2005. The latest ones don’t even look like 2019 album covers. And they look super cheaply made too. Put some more effort and have new creative ideas

I must be like one of the few people that prefers the jewel cases opposed to the digipaks and the horrible packaging that K-pop albums have. I collect K-pop, Visual Kei, and J-idol CDs, so I like the jewel cases a lot more as I own over 400 Visual Kei CDs alone and it’s easier to pack more into a single space.

I rather be able to do have my CDs stack like how I have it above than what I have one of my shelves than what I had to do with my shelf that has both my VK and K-pop CDs.

I also don’t like digipak and the book format for CD cases as they do wear out after awhile unless you sleeve them up as soon as you get them or have a vinyl slipcase.

This is a picture of the ‘70s bandol (band idol) group, Lazy. I scanned it from the photobook “Hello Lazy” that I assume was released either in late 1978 or early 1979 by judging some of the outfits (up to the “Hello! Hello! Hello!” single costume) the group wore in the book.
