adult friendships.

a couple of weeks ago I was asked how do you make adult friends.

and today I was asked what I would miss most about Seattle.

I said my friends. Super basic answer but it’s true. I made some really good adult friends, and will definitely cherish our friendship and the time we spent growing and elevating together. All the good times and tough talks.

I don’t know how I got so blessed but I’m so thankful. I definitely don’t take them for granted.

Meeting friends post college and growing to tell each other how it really is and checking one another after only knowing each other last than 19 months is wild.

I had been so sad and so depressed since October. And I got sick and had to come home and I don’t think I realized how much I needed to be home. Which is quite strange because usually it’s a place that brings such sadness. But I was really able to recenter. Even though I was able to carry on externally for a good while even that began to give out, internally I was a mess.

Here’s to finishing out the year.
