The last thing you would want in a department is to notice that even though you put in so much time and effort, acknowledgement is never in the department’s culture. Wisdom, love, whatever you can put in the mission and vision, but never walking the talk. I’ve endure this once, I’ve endured this twice. But no more. Never again will you make me shed tears of sadness, not because I didn’t perform as well as I thought, but because of the lack of human touch in the office. Oh by the way, I work in the healthcare industry. Talk about irony.

Sleep is for...the weak?

“Gosh I feel exhausted... I’ve only had 6 hours of sleep!”

“Woah, isn’t that a lot?”

Just when did society change its viewpoint of sleep? We look up to those who sleep less than our average human being AND still able to function at their optimal conditions, while we look down upon those who actually do sleep like a decent human being
