Gotta love a cat filter 😜
Last day before going back to work and spent it making Scottish Tablet for the first time. Might need to give my Dentist a heads up 🤣

🥹 so sweet
The last gift my dad bought my mum was this orchid, it hasn't flowered since he died in 2020. To see it flowering now swells my heart, it may not be the prettiest of orchids but it was my father's gift to my mum so too precious ❤️ 🥹
Holiday 2026 has come to an end, saying goodbye and coming home was harder than I thought it would be this year
This man is the definition of national treasure, I will be inconsolable when his time comes to an end. In the meantime, very happy 100th birthday Sir David Attenborough 🫡
I've always loved this statue in Buchanan Bus station in Glasgow. Such a sweet representation of lovers being reunited ❤️
This time of year is one of my favourites for this reason, all the Cherry Blossoms coming to life.
I do love myself some fresh cut flowers, especially roses in my Gran's cut glass vase she loved so much. It really is the simple pleasures in life sometimes.
Peaceful
I can't believe I got to wake up to this view
A wonderful short break to Berwick-upon-Tweed, Bamburgh and Lindisfarne. The weather was amazing as were the sights. Sharing places that meant so much to my dad with the newest addition was as emotional as it was amazing.
❤️🖤❤️🖤❤️🖤
A wee blast from the past, a photo of a dress made from Tunnocks tea cake covers in a museum in Hamilton in 2019. Only just realised the back of the case its being kept in is covered in the covers of the dark chocolate tea cakes😂 God how a Tunnocks Tea Cake reminds me of my wee granny 🥹 Scotland makes the best sweet things if you ask me, Tunnocks, shortbread, tablet to name but a few.
An old photo of a historic building in Glasgow which has been destroyed by fire yesterday. My heart is broken. For me the fact that life brings about so much change especially to a city like Glasgow but these buildings act as an anchor to our past, knowing loved ones who are sadly gone also gazed on the same sights provides me with comfort. Therefore the destruction of those links cuts deep. I know there are far more worrying and upsetting things going on in the world but I am feeling rather sad today for my home city.
Glasgow Central remains closed, hopefully not for too long as its my main link into the city I love.
Love this time of year when the lighter nights start coming in and the snowdrops start to appear and you can hear folk cutting their grass for the first time since winter started 😌
