//YuGiOh, Game of Thrones series, Dune
FUCKING SETO KAIBA, KTHX. MEME OVER.
No, seriously. How could you do that to me, I'm so embarrassed. This rich, fifteen year old bastard used to own my goddamn soul and I think you remember this. I was so into YGO, I still have all my old card decks too.
As for GOT, I think I'd like to play Sansa, hands down.
And with Dune... Princess Irulan or Ghanima. I'm torn between the two of them, but I have to say I'd lean towards Ghanima, based solely on the fact that I think her name is so freaking cool.
Marvel
Matt Fraction's Hawkeye.
Definitely because I like writing about superheroes in their off-hours. Also because he's hilarious. I'm hesitant about ever entering the Marvel roleplay fandom to write because, uh. Well. Horror stories. Anyways, if I ever were to -- Hawkguy's cute and I totally jive with his love for java.
( Mmmm, java. )
Send me a fandom and I'll tell you a character I'd roleplay from that fandom.

[ she would kiss his nose if it wasnāt because of him being so dammed tall. Anyhow, he should expect lots of presents over the next few days, as well as a several, unstoppable cooing noises. Because babies. ]
[ Heck with it, it's easy for him to lean right over and bump his forehead against her temple all friendly and chaste-like, because he and Dean are really happy. They've been really happy for a while, and it's this sickly-sweet feeling like they've been drinking maple syrup. Knowing someone else is happy on their behalf makes him do all sorts of things with his face before he settles on smiling. Something smile and private for the Godmother.
Kiss the ring, everyone. ]
Dean's already invited you to come see the sprout, right? Come on then.
Ā Ā Ā "Iām assuminā the season court⦠stuff is somethinā wizardy āĀ ?"
"Summer and Winter? Nah, the courts are faerie, not wizards."
There is a distinct pause, as though Harry is deliberating on being specific, before he abruptly asks: "How are you taking all this, by the way? I never stopped to ask you."
Ā Ā Ā "⦠agree about the weather suckinā or⦠actually, thatās the gist of what I got."
"Keep up with me, Raylan. C'mon. Summer's court comes into power, Winter's court winds up on the backburner. Less work. Better weather. Time to crank up the Vitamin C and hit the beach!"
Can I just skip ahead through the mayflowers to June? Summer can have power and control, and I can skip off to my pseudo-vacation with my family. I got a list of things as long as my leg that I want to get done, and I'd love it if the weather was nice and warm.
I mean. You agree, don't you?
"I did mind the gap. The gap didnāt mind me." He didnāt look to be in a hurry to leave. His posture was casual and unthreatening because he was unthreatening. It was only when he was backed into a corner that things tended to happen. Otherwise, he stayed to himself and the world left him alone. Maybe it felt bad for him. Maybe it didnāt care. Nick looked over his shoulder back at the train and then to the stranger. āIām sorry that I ran into you,ā he repeated. He knew that he said it once, but, it had been rude of him to not see where he was going. āIām incredibly lost. I donāt know where I am, other than Chicago, and I donāt know why Iām here. Iāll figure that out eventually.āĀ He cleared his throat. āI⦠think Iām just going to goā¦that way,ā he said, pointing south. āThatās always the way that people go.ā He thought it was south. It was north.Ā
"You're all right," Harry replied, because it was not every day that strangers tripped off the train and then apologized for it, rather than taking off without a word edgewise. Strangers passed through the city every day. On the street, in the shops, going to and fro and up and down, and living, breathing, thriving or not, in a city that would easily chew you up and spit you out. In pieces. Which would be why Harry paused, for a long moment, while the stranger openly admitted to a lot of things that would mark him has vulnerable and without aim. Easy mark.
"NNnnnno, okay. Don't go that way, that way is dangerous. You're in Chicago and don't know where you're going. Let me... direct you." He stepped back alongside the guy, because stranger or not, he could not just leave such a -- clueless guy to his own means.
Chicago. How the Fuck did he end up in Chicago? He stepped off the train, nearly got his foot caught, straightened up after stumbling, and smoothed his hands down over his coat. He hadnāt drank anything for nigh on two days, and his gait was smooth, hell, even when he bumped into a stranger, it didnāt do more to him than caused him to step back and step back again. āSorry. Quite literally. Very, incredibly, sorry.ā Because saying sorry once wasnāt enough. His life was built on apologies. Carefully built ones but for now - he was doing well. Clear headed, even.
"Why? 'Cause the El almost ate your leg?" He'd seen the stumble, just a moment prior to being bumped into. Harry pocketed his hands, a casual gesture that put his center of balance off and left him with his head cocked to one side. He was actually checking his pockets, because this was the El and this was Chicago, and who know who'd try to lift what off who. Even as tall, dark and scrawny as he was, it might not put off a desperate thief.
"Mind the gap," he grinned, briefly, and gestured to the station. Apparently he'd figured that everything meant to be on his person was still there, and all was well. "Welcome to Chicago, you look like you're lost."
Ā Thatās right. Kidney is mine.Ā [Ā he grins and would laugh if Harry ends up knocking something over. It wouldnāt be the first time that it has happened, and it wouldnāt be the last.Ā ]Ā You think you can trip and trap Mab into somehow makinā it so we get a kid that we didnāt birth, isnāt a changeling, isnāt kidnapped, and will be able to grow as a human should, live as a human should, isnāt tethered to the fae, or you know⦠I donāt want a kid that should be with someone else, taken by the fae, to be given to us, yāknow?
[ He kicks his feet out, and manages to hook the heel of one of them on the edge of the kitchen table. Something, somewhere, clatters softly. Does not break, but definitely shifts something a little too far to the right. It's comical, but it means he can lean over and run his hand over Dean's arm and murmur: ] Everything's yours.
I think there are two of us, and one of her. I think, we put our heads and everything that goes with us together, and we're unstoppable, babe. I think I've had enough collective experience with twisting words in the Faerie courts since I was sixteen, and you're just plain amazing at bending the rules to make them ever in your favor and -- we want a kid something bad.Ā We've done more for family on less, you and I.
I'm not jumping into anything without you holding my hand.
What if I need one of your kidneys? I mean, I could be selfish and need it one day.Ā
[Ā He leans against the counter as he baked the potatoes, and leans over so that he can tug Harry down and kiss him lightly. The talk is going to be hard, he figures. Itās hard facing failure and disappointments in themselves, things they couldnāt afford and a candid talk about how they could have children when for so long they thought they wouldnāt.Ā ]Ā
Bendinā the rules is what I do, so I can agree to that, but ⦠ām not sure that I got enough paper and brain to make a contract that would hold Mab. Sheād find some loophole and give us some log or turn one of us into a chick to carry the baby, and dude, ām not a seahorse. But how else are we goinā to get one?
[ It's hard. Knowing they can do so many things, but running up against limitations such as these, when they want nothing more than this opportunity. To have family. ] "Kidney reserved for beloved husband". Check.
[ He sags into the kiss, mindful of the stove between them and the area where Dean has been prepping the meal, otherwise he's bound to put his hand right in the potatoes or something like that. A soft sigh, and he nuzzles into Dean's hair, before resting back along the counter again. ]
Before I... took on the gig, I made her swear she'd never mess with the people I love. Not now, not any time. There's that. But I don't trust Faeries as far as I can throw them, and they're heavy suckers for being full of hot air. She told me to take it to you first. I'm not comfortable with it, but -- like you said. How else? It's something. It's not everything, but it's something.
I don't wanna' be a seahorse, oh heck!
I would say āmarry a crime boss and cry a lotā, but since that seems a little extreme. Still and as I told your husband, why donāt you ask Marcone to get you one?
[ she could also suggest something along the lines of ākidnappingā, but those were rather drastic measures, and she had the sense they would approve. ]
You will get a child. Ask around, make phonecalls, let people know that you are willing to adopt a child. There is always someone giving up a child, for one reason or the other. They might contact you, if they know you are willing.
A little extreme and a little illegal, mind you. I'm already married!
[ Harry's nose wrinkles at the mention of asking Marcone for anything. He'd spent some time crashing on his couch while getting his life back in some semblance of order, and he really didn't want to go knocking on his door to ask him to do anything. ]
Libi. The problem is: look at me. Look at both of us, and our records. They're not stellar, we have records a mile long. Nobody would trust us with a child, no matter how badly we want one and how well weĀ could do. Will do. Will. That's the point -- we're not... [ An emphatic gesture from him. ]
I don't know. I'll keep my ear out for something.
