Man vs. Fascinator

FASCINATING… Inviting you to take a sneak peek at our first Man vs. Fascinator subjects. Man vs. Fascinator, brainchild of Cairns Festival producer Eric Holowacz is a socio-photographic project which is being photographed by Jake Nowakowski at Circa 1907 Gallery in Cairns. The Man vs. Fascinator project is looking for subjects. We are looking for men of all ages and walks of life to pose while wearing their partners’ fascinator. The result will be a photographic exhibition of Cairns masculine identities, carefully and lovingly adorned with their partners’ truly feminine accessory, a cherished fascinator. Every participating subject will be provided with a print of his portrait and selected images will be shown in a public exhibition during the Cairns Festival.
