me: develops a regular schedule of waking up and walking my dogs every day at 7am and 7pm thanks to a recent vet visit that diagnosed my big dog with heart disease. completely stops drawing for months on end because i stopped having mental and physical energy to accommodate for it

July: artfight hits

me: wow i love drawing i dont even know why it was so hard to get back into haha

5 days in and i have completely neglected to eat, use the bathroom, or get up at all. i forgot. time stopped existing in the moments i had clip studio opened. I'm so fucked dude. on the bright side, I've got like 5 pieces for artfight. LOL.

#i havent walked my dogs in two days but it's only semi unrelated to the event #first day was because i exhausted myself completely thanks to shopping on july 3rd #and all the carts at the grocery store were GONE from how many people were shopping pre 4th of july #i had to carry both my friend's items and my own items in a basket #and did not think we'd get that much #and still had 3 more stores to stop at. lol #second day was like. recovery day from that. and 4th of july really screwed me #my dogs did NOT let me sleep that night at all

i'm so determined to have my own website one day. i don't even mind the aspect of paying for one. having my own corner of the internet where i section off parts of my interests and show off my original characters into an archived piece of the internet is such a dream. it's just a bit overwhelming for someone like me. but i definitely have plans.
