Adventures in Austin, Day 3:
It turned out that my hotel (which was an official Con partner hotel and "next door" to the convention center) was on the opposite side of where we needed to be, and since the convention center is MASSIVE my friends and I decided to take an Uber.
Well, our Uber driver was AWFUL and despite me telling them no less than 3 times exactly which entrance we needed to be dropped off at they kept trying to drop us off on the wrong street, so finally we gave up and walked the rest of the way.
Luckily we were able to skip the line to get in (which was INSANE -- it wrapped around the entire building all the way to our hotel) and got to get in line for the main reason I came -- to see Charlie Cox!

Everything everyone has said is true -- Charlie is a total sweetheart to his fans and actually pays attention to each individual rather than just signing whatever and moving on (like other celebrities who shall remain nameless -- lemme just say I've definitely heard stories about how cold a certain leading man from a certain space franchise is to his fans. But I digress...).
Anyway, Charlie was SO nice and SO genuine -- if you ever get the opportunity to meet him, definitely do it!
(And he's even more handsome in person!!!!!!!)
Next up was the panel with Charlie, Vincent D'Onofrio, & Krysten Ritter. I had really great seats despite the theater being packed!
Next, I saw Giancarlo Esposito, who was WONDERFUL. He told some wonderful stories and actually gave some really great life advice.
Then was David Boreanez, who was very funny and told stories about various jobs he had before becoming an actor (including being a door-to-door steak salesman, lol).
Final panel of the night for me was Harvey Guillén, who was very sweet and very funny.
...So of course I had to get his autograph.
I'm now gearing up for day 4 (which is Charlie photo op day!) and can't wait to post my picture later!
