Update
It's with much disappointment that I wanted to let you know that my original blog 'teazdndenied' has been terminated by Tumblr after nearly ten years. I've made multiple appeals but have not yet even received the courtesy of a reply. As a result, I have little hope of my account being reinstated at this point.
I'm both baffled and frustrated by this decision. Ever since the NSFW rules were implemented in 2018 I've done my best to follow Tumblr guidelines and avoid using images that were explicit or graphic in nature. Very rarely have my posts been flagged but if it occurred and I was made aware I would respectfully remove the post.
Admittedly, the most frustrating aspect for me is the wildly inconsistent approach Tumblr takes to terminating accounts. I'm constantly seeing blogs that have been around for years that are nothing but graphic, explicit images and yet somehow those seem to effortlessly evade the admins while mine is terminated. (To be clear, that's in no way intended as a complaint directed toward those blogs, but rather to the inexplicable inconsistency with which Tumblr applies their own rules.)
So, that leaves me with where I am today. At the moment my frustration and disappointment over losing so much content and so many drafts that were either in process or simply waiting to be posted seem to be outweighing my inspiration and motivation to produce new content. I'm sure though that as time passes that will likely change as well.
I am though grateful that this blog exists and has retained much of my original blog. In the short term I plan to reblog some of my content here as I come across it, particularly content that has not yet been posted here.
Lastly, I wanted to thank everyone who has followed and interacted with my posts over the years. I'm well aware that because of the length of many of my posts much of my content isn't really conducive with typical rapid Tumblr scrolling. I appreciate everyone who's taken the time to pause their scrolling to read my content, particularly the lengthier posts.
Thanks everyone!
