I am officially going to move my stories to WordPress!  I love Tumblr, and will continue to use it, but for posting stories it just isn’t very easy.  There is no good way to have a Table of Contents.  Soooo...from this point forward, all my stories will be posted over there!  Here is link: https://meeshelbysims.wordpress.com/

Maggie had grown into a beautiful young lady, with long red hair she had worked years to grow.
Now that the kids were all growing up and moving out, Richard decided he could pursue his painting career.
Elisabeth was gaining levels quickly in her career as well.
Mathias was still calling Maggie.  After their last date, and the fact that EVERY single time they were together she was bored out of her mind...she finally got smart and realized good looks and attraction just weren’t enough.  (I kid you not, every time they were together her fun counter would plummet!  It was so weird!)
Soon Maggie had saved up enough money to buy a home near her parents’ with the money she had earned and they had matched.  They threw in a little extra as well to help her get started.
Maggie absolutely loved her new place. Â It was very cozy and just perfect for her. Â She enjoyed the peace and quiet, but soon started feeling lonely.
Her parents had tried to give her some space, but when she started sounding lonely, they showed up more often to spend the day with her.
They were literally just down the street from her new house!
Elisabeth loved chatting with Maggie about her new place.  They were so close now that they weren’t living together.  If they didn’t visit in person, they were always on the phone talking to each other.
Maggie loved hanging out with her siblings and parents. Â She invited everyone to the Ruins one evening to hang out and dance with the local DJ.
There were even several ghosts present, including Maggie’s great grandmother Anastasia.
Everyone had a blast and decided they needed to have family outings more often!  They missed the good ol’ days, doing their homework together.

Derek was still hanging around the house.  He would send sly smiles in Maggie’s direction and she would giggle and blush. They hadn’t had any more alone time together, but she kept thinking about it.  Thoughts of Ridge kept invading her at random times though.  And she would dream of Mathias...he was so hot!  She needed to make a decision soon.
Derek asked Maggie out on a date one evening, just the two of them and some quiet time to talk and see where things would go.
Things went very well. Â She went home incredibly happy. Â Derek was just so interesting...and she definitely had a school girl crush on him. Â He really enjoyed her company as well. Â But was it enough? Â The chemistry and infatuation was there, but was there love?
Maggie figured it was only fair that she give all 3 boys a fair chance. Â So her next date was with Mathias. Â To the swimming pool...where she could enjoy that muscular body of his. Â Suspiciously, her mother showed up at the same time.
Their date hit legendary status much more quickly...there was a lot of chemistry between them. Â But....
All Mathias ever did was talk about himself and sports and video games. Â I mean seriously...how could someone so good looking be so BORING?!
Before her date with Ridge, whom Maggie couldn’t stop thinking about, it was time for birthdays all around.  Maggie and the boys would now be young adults.  Maggie’s hair had grown quite long.
It seemed that Ridge also couldn’t keep Maggie out of his mind.  So, to the 3rd and final date to help her make  her decision.
Ridge & Maggie met at the local diner. Â He was such a gentleman, opening doors for her, waiting for her to sit down first, even gave her a rose after they ate. Â He was so in love with her, and she felt herself falling more and more in love with him.
Their date would have hit gold as well, but the game glitched and it wouldn’t let me socialize about the meal!  I was so frustrated.

With all these men in her life, Maggie decided it was time for a change in wardrobe. Â Something a bit more girly. Â She spent hours going through the clothes in her closet to realize she had NOTHING to wear!!! Â It was time to go shopping!
One day, while doing her homework with all of her siblings (they all autonomously just went to the bedroom to do their work, and their parents showed up too)...Maggie asked her dad if she could have some money to go shopping for new clothes.  Richard and Elisabeth exchanged a look and then told Maggie that she was old enough now (18), that she would soon be ready to move out on her own.  So if she would get a job, they would match her paycheck each week and she could go buy herself some new clothes and start saving for her own place.  Maggie thought about that for a few moments, and then agreed.  She didn’t want to be some spoiled brat forever!
So that was how Maggie started working at the local coffee shop/cafe. Â She found she really enjoyed getting out of the house and away from her boy problems!
There was one particular ghost who liked to hang around while Maggie was working. Â The ghost looked so familiar! Â Almost like her grandma Jools Alley...but not quite. Â After looking through some old family albums, Maggie found her! Â It was her great grandmother Anastasia!!! Â She asked her all sorts of questions about what Willow Creek had been like when she was alive, and what it was like to be dead.
Back in the Platinum household, Richard and Elisabeth just couldn’t keep their hands off each other.  Elisabeth was considering buying stock in pregnancy tests.
So far...no more nooboos!!!

After all the drama with Ridge & Mathias, Maggie needed a break to clear her head.  She went next door to Derek’s house to talk to him all about her problems. He was so good to listen, and always had the best advice.
Derek came over one day to check on Maggie to see how she was handling things.
At this point, she considered him her very best friend. Â Her sister Abbey always watched them from a distance, a wistful smile on her face.
Derek took Maggie’s hands and sighed...a very “old” sigh.  As if he just had so much more wisdom than she did.  He started to say something that sounded like...”I wish we...” then stopped because Maggie’s phone rang.
It was Mathias, asking Maggie out on a date. Â She gave Derek a quick hug and raced away.
When she showed up for their date...Mathias was no where to be seen.  However a cupcake was waiting for her with a note that said “Sweets for the sweet!”.  How very oddly sweet...Mathias was a head scratcher!!
Maggie headed back home, where Derek was still hanging out. Â She dragged him outside to tell him what had just happened.
Derek sighed and pulled her close, whispering...”if only you were mine...” and then gave her a soft kiss.
That kiss led to other things and soon they were making out in the closet!! Â What??!! Â THREE boys now?!

Richard’s mother invited him over for her Elder birthday.  He hadn’t been to see his step-siblings in a while so he went with two purposes rather than one.
His mother was finally looking like a grandma. Â She had appeared so young for so long! Â Must have been that bright red hair.
Or maybe her youth had something to do with the new baby and 2 youngsters in her household! Â Richard had fun hanging out with his step-siblings.
Ridge and Maggie were hanging out more. Â He was really into her, and showed it through lots of attention and sweet little gestures.
When she gave him their first kiss, he was on cloud 9!!
Things got a bit complicated one day when Mathias came over while Ridge was there.  She and Mathias hadn’t kissed yet, but it was still a bit awkward.
Ridge must have been feeling quite possessive because he swooped Maggie up into a big kiss right in front of Mathias!
Mathias took Maggie out on a date one weekend to The Bluffs. Â She decided to kiss him too, to see if there was anything more than just butterflies when she was around him. Â He was sooooo HOT!!!
Before their date was over, Ridge called Maggie to see if she wanted to meet up with him.
When Maggie showed up to see Ridge, one of her worse nightmares came true!! Â She was almost completely naked!!! Â Quickly she got dressed, before her father, who also showed up at the same place/same time, would see!
Ridge didn’t seem to notice at all.
....or maybe he did and that’s how this happened!

Maggie never had really been interested in any of the boys at school. Â So when 3 new families with boys her age moved into town, she was hoping there might be some possibilities among them.
First, she met Ridge Everest. Â He was really sweet and very much into her. Â They talked a lot!
Next, she met Mathias Hair. Â His family lived in a really cool house that was decorated with a mix of modern and traditional. Â He loved to talk about himself though. Â And was way into sports and gaming. Â But he was so cute!!
Derek Blazedell moved right next door to her house. Â He was so mature. Â He talked about things he had done and seen that Maggie had only dreamed of! Â Her sister, Abbey, was quite smitten with him too though...in fact she would invite him over after school rather frequently.
Maggie became quite infatuated with Derek. Â Since he lived so close, he came over a lot and they would hang out and chat while staring at the clouds and stars. Â Derek told Maggie about all sorts of adventures he had been on.
When she couldn’t see them in person, Maggie would spend her evenings on the phone chatting with the boys.
Maggie was a bit fascinated by ghosts.  So when Ridge invited her to a local “Ghost Night”, she HAD to go.  Of course the cute boy had nothing to do with that.  There were so many interested ghosts floating about that had lived in the area.  And a few that seemed to be able to double themselves...which was odd.
TOWNIE NEWS
So remember how one of my rotation couples (Vincent & Makenna Perez-Marks) had triplets after autonomous risky woohoo?  Well, it seems they couldn’t keep their hands off of each other even after 5 kids, and had another one!
A few other rotation family members were aging and starting to pass away.  Derek Hensley died before his father!  Chris Hensley is an active sim, so I’m guessing that makes them live nearly forever? lol

Fall had arrived in my sims’ world.
Johnathon and Maggie enjoyed spending the cooler evenings outside playing chess.  Maggie’s hair was getting longer!
Poor Johnathon...just when he thought he had mastered the grill, he discovered he still had a lot to learn!
Oddly, Maggie’s teacher decided on a field trip to an empty lot one day.  She decided it was a good time to work on her homework.
After completing her homework she walked across the street to the local neighborhood garden and ate a few strawberries and apples.
Doing their homework together was still a tradition among the teens at the Platinum household.
Maggie was spending her spare time going out and talking to celebrators of the Day of the Dead.

The Day of the Dead, or Dios de los Muertos, was in full swing in my sims’ world.
Elizabeth had been promoted far enough in her Athletic career that it was time for her to choose a specialty. Â She went with professional athlete.
Richard & Elisabeth both celebrated their adult birthdays...singing at the top of their lungs to each other.
Christopher celebrated his Young Adult birthday, hugged his family and went out to start his career and find a home of his own. Â Richard made him promise to come visit often.
The whole family was a bit glum after Christopher moved out, the Platinum kids were growing up *sniff*.
The triplets all finished their aspirations and aged up to teens.
Here are photos of everyone after their birthdays (and skin makeovers...still not sure I’m going to keep these exact ones):
Richard
Elisabeth
Christopher
Trevor (looks exactly like Richard, so can’t use him as my heir...)
Abbey (pretty sure I’m going to choose between her and Maggie for my heir).
Lilly
In other news...
The first EVER gay marriages in my sims game.  I felt bad for Carson...he was married twice before Gary, both women those times, and he must have been miserable.  Also, found it funny...Yosef Hensley (if anyone remembers)...was dating Charlotte Alley when they were teens.  They were promised to each other.  The moment I aged them up to adults, Charlotte married someone else!!!  Yosef never married, and I thought it was a broken heart, but come to find out...he wasn’t even into women!  Paolo has been married twice before in my game as well, both times with women...had 4 children total.
And I leave you with a couple of blooper photos lol

Let’s start this post out with a picture of Gummy Bear Pancakes...why not?!  Maggie made these...and was quite proud of herself.
Abbey loved going to the park to play, Lilly would typically tag along.
Halloween was coming to Windenberg, and everyone was in good spirits...no pun intended.
Maggie rather enjoyed being a teen. Â She started letting her hair grow out, however...because suddenly she was becoming interested in boys, and she wanted to feel more girly.
Johnathon was becoming quite good on the grill. Â He woke up almost every morning and headed to the grill to fix some breakfast (autonomously).
Elisabeth was moving up the ladder at her job. Â She loved no longer having to wear the llama mascot costume. Â With all the workouts she was getting, she was slimming down and looking pretty good!
At work, she was meeting a lot of people from around town and neighboring towns as well. Â Pablo Hernandez was there working out almost every day...and it was working to keep him looking young!! Â And poor Adalynn (Perez) Pancakes was still coming to work out even though she was several months pregnant! Â Elisabeth received another promotion at work!
And right after I saw poor Adalynn about to pop, this came up...For those who don’t remember or don’t know...Adalynn was the first grandchild of one of my other founding couples:  Enrique & Lauryn Perez.  Her aunt is Makenna, who married Vincent Marks.
Elisabeth also invited her siblings & parents over quite frequently so they could stay close. Â Devan & Jools were retired, and enjoying their later years.
And of course, the nights would not be complete without all THREE triplets running to Dad & Mom to tell them the monsters were back...again.

Time passed quite quickly and the triplets aged up...3 more redheads in the house!
Richard knocked down the wall between the nursery and the small bedroom beside it and made more room for the triplets. Â The monsters of course began to visit in the middle of the night. Â Abby tried to talk to them. Â Lilly just got angry for her sleep being interrupted. Â Trevor was scared.
All the Platinum siblings loved eating breakfast together! Â Good thing they had such a large kitchen.
And of course, they loved doing their homework together as well.
Sorry Richard but there is no more room in the house...gotta tell you no this time!

Elisabeth wasn’t the only moody one around.  Her Aunt Jayleen Alley-Drink would go stomping by almost every day.  At least she was getting exercise!  But I don’t think she was enjoying being old.  (She has the insane trait, FYI).
Richard was becoming quite talented in his paintings. Â He was bringing in a lot of money and had started creating a few masterpieces. Â Maggie demanded this one be hung in her bedroom.
Grandma Jools Alley would come by to visit, and loved it when she’d help her with her homework.  (If you recall a while back...Jools was showing signs of being pregnant, but never had a baby.  She’s aged up to elder and STILL appears to be pregnant, and still no baby!)
Soon it was time for Johnathon’s birthday!  He became a teenager with an immediate hatred of children. That marked him off my list as a possible heir right then.  I don’t want to ever play another heir with the hates children trait!
At least his mother enjoyed spending time with him a lot more now!
At least her 3 older children were now teens! Â They could help with the new one on the way! Â Time for baby #4!!
Hmmmm...why doesn’t Richard look happy?  Another child in the house!!
Maybe because Elisabeth gave birth to TRIPLETS!!!! Â WHAT?!?!
Richard and Elisabeth hugged each other. Â They had been fine to stop at 3. Â And now their were twice that many!!! Â But they would love them all. Â Welcome to Trevor, Abby and Lilly.

It had become tradition for the Platinum kids to do their homework together in the backyard.
Johnathan was obsessed with learning as much as he could about everything.
Maggie was really picking up some creative skills. Â At school she was taking a cooking class and a music class as well.
Maggie also found out there was a local neighborhood challenge for the Day of the Dead. Â She could ask participants for sugar skulls to add to her collection.
There were so many bright and colorful costumes around town! Â Maggie wanted one for herself!
One evening...I noticed Elisabeth getting into bed with a rather large tummy.... Â WHAT?! Â When did this happen?!
She’s definitely pregnant!  The hormones are hitting hard on this one.

The 3 platinum children got along quite famously.  They tried their best to stay out from under their mother’s feet.
Richard loved spending time with their kids. Â Johnathon especially loved to be read to.
Christopher continued to make friends all over.
Maggie explored everything! Â She was constantly found in the oddest of places.
Christopher grew up into a handsome teen, although he didn’t seem to really care.  His grandma Jools’ eyes were very strong in the family genes.
Christopher took up a new hobby and rather enjoyed it.
Richard was invited to join Knights of the Hedge. Â He said yes and enjoyed the cosplay part of the club the most.
The mazes were pretty cool too.
Elisabeth was happy to have a teen in the house! Â The offending dollhouse had been removed from the backyard and replaced with a chess set.
Finally it was Maggie’s turn to become a teen.  She chopped off her hair for the occasion.
TOWNIE NEWS
A lot has been happening and I’ve not updated this for a while, so figured I would do that now.  Quite a few deaths in my world.  A lot of my founders from the 4 rotations, plus some extended family members.

Little Christopher Platinum was quite the social butterfly. Â He enjoyed making friends at school and around Willow Creek.
Elisabeth was fascinated with science and loved reading.
However...the monsters under her bed she didn’t love so much.
Apparently by the 3rd child, Richard could sense the impending labor...Elisabeth was fast asleep when he started freaking out.
Another boy was welcomed to the family! Â Johnathon was a little more quiet and shy than his older siblings.

Things are going quite well at Richard & Elisabeth’s home.
Richard is quite determined to have more than one child with Elisabeth.
They went on a few dates, best way to keep a marriage alive!
When they found out they were expecting again, Richard was ecstatic. Â Elisabeth not so much.
Christopher told his grandma all about the nooboo on the way.
Grandma Claudia was a little concerned about Elisabeth when she found another smashed playset in the back yard.
Richard assured her it would pass, and they got their minds off Elisabeth’s behavior by playing a game of Don’t Wake the Llama.
Elisabeth made it through the pregnancy with her sanity still intact. Â Soon little Maggie was born...and grew up with a horrid sense of style.
Before much time had passed, Elisabeth was again taking out her frustrations on the doll house in the backyard, because....
Yep...pregnant again!
