“A lot of boys and girls think their lives will have meaning if they find a partner who wants nothing else in life but them. That’s not healthy. That’s falling in love with the idea of a person, not the actual person.”
— Joseph Gordon-Levitt, on his character in “500 Days of Summer”
“Do you ever miss yourself? The person you were before you had your first heartbreak or before you got betrayed by a person you trusted?”

i think it’s brave i think it’s brave that you get up in the morning even if your soul is weary and your bones ache for a rest i think it’s brave that you keep on living even if you don’t know how to anymore i think it’s brave that you push away the waves rolling in every day and you decide to fight i know there are days when you feel like giving up but i think it’s brave that you never do

I got my heart broken and I survived, I failed 3 courses in university and graduated, I got rejected in the very first job I applied for and got promoted yesterday, I went through hard times with my family but then two years later, we laughed our hearts out over lunch, The closest friends disappointed me several times but I made new friends and loved them with all my heart. I did it once, I can do it again.
I NEEDED THIS SO BADLY
I am a different person to different people. Annoying to one. Talented to another. Quiet to a few. Unknown to a lot. But who am I, to me?

You will be ‘too much’ for some people. Too loud, too soft. Too this, too that. But you’ll always be perfect for the peeple who need you.

Then it happens. Like all of a sudden you start to get that sense that you’re being left out, that you don’t belong anymore. From the way he talks, to the way he treats you, you suddenly feel that your importance and your existence in his life is slowly disappearing.

i want simple intimacy…i want the brushing of hands and the knowing looks, i want the playful arm around the shoulders, i want the cheek and forehead kisses mixed with laughter, i want the innocent feeling of laying my head on someone’s chest and being near them for no other reason than pure comfort and love and closeness…
F**k this. I miss you. I miss your smile. I miss your annoying laugh. I miss your voice. I miss your stories. I miss your cheesy jokes. I miss the way you touch me without even touching me. I miss you. So bad. And It’s killing me
