Today's #PorchPepper harvest

A few years ago, I planted some bulbs from a discount store. I thought thought the frakedety squirrel got them all, so I was pleasantly surprised this afternoon too see this. 😀🌺 (at Aquia Harbour, Virginia)

Quick harvest this morning of my #FrontPorchGarden including the first jalapeno of the season. And another crap-ton of mint. Juleps amyone? 😂

Look! Blueberries ~ on my front porch! I never really liked blueberries before, but these are so sweet and tasty. There's just something about eating food that that is fresh from the dirt. My Mema planted and tended a garden until well into her 80s. I grew up with fresh green beans, okra, zucchini, tomatoes and canteloupe. I didn't appreciate it then, but now I know she is looking down and smiling. 😊 #MissHerEveryDay

If I can beat the birds to them, I may actually have a couple of blueberries in a day or two. The other blueberry bush is loaded with berries, but they are at least a week behind. #SnackingOnMyFrontPorchGarden

Other than a crap-ton of chocolate mint, this is my first harvest off the front porch garden.

My avocados went from hard-as-a-rock to beyond-ripe in 2.3 minutes. When life gives you lemons (or limes) make up a big ol' batch of guacamole! #HolyGuacamole #SoDelicious 🤣🥑🍅🌶

...AND this morning, woke up to about 8 of these beauties in my front yard. I do love color in the spring! #Breathe :)

Crap day on top of a total crap week on top of a total crap April. But then I got home and saw my irises had begun to bloom. #ItWillBeOkay :)

Woo hoo! I made it to the Farmers' Market in time to get eggs! Asparagus, spring onions and garlic and the first strawberries of the season...It doesn't take much to make me happy. 😁

I got some bunny ears to wear while I pass out Easter treats to my patients tomorrow. I think they look much cuter on the #coonhound. She wasn't amused and refused to make eye contact with me. 🐰🐕😂😂😂

A #coonhound (that will be 15 years old in a few months) gets to sleep on the people bed if she wants to.
