HERCULES skidded to a halt, throwing his hands up as he just narrowly avoided a collision. His own fault for not being careful enough, he let out a breathy chuckle of relief and removed his earphones. “Woah there!” he smiled, happy not to have hurt anyone. “That looks pretty heavy, do you need a hand? Trust me when I say its no big deal.”

Make the fire, fix the breakfast, wash the dishes, do the mopping --
Ella was happy to clean - she was quite good at it, but strength, however, was not her strong suit. Picking up a case of potted flowers to spruce up the garden for her mother’s after tea party from Aurora’s had turned awry when her car wouldn’t start. She was in no mood to hear it from her, and thus became determined to still get the flowers home and planted on time. She took off on foot with her arms loaded with a heavy box, and too quickly did she regret her decision as the pots exhausted her arms. She was winded halfway down the street when someone nearly ran into her and all she could do is pull back onto her heels and grip the box as hard as she could to keep from dropping them. If she did, it would come out of her wallet, and she couldn’t afford that.
Collision averted, Ella sighed in relief and immediately set the box down to give her arms a rest. She looked up at the man she’d avoided, smiling graciously at the offer for help. “Oh please, if you don’t mind, I think I bit off more than I can chew with this. I still have another mile to go. Thank you -- my name’s Ella. What’s yours?”
