Species Name: Neko
Lifespan: 900~ Years
Physicality: Nekos are large, bipedal, and anthropomorphic cats.They’re a bit larger than humans. Body type/fur patterns are dependent on their subspecies. (For example, a subspecies would be siamese, maine coon, ragdoll, and so on.)
All nekos have the following traits:
- Tails (Length can greatly vary. Tails can also be removed, though it would be excruciatingly painful)
- Back Stripes (Even if they have no fur, there are stripe-like markings)
- Fangs
- Claws
Behaviour: Nekos have individual personalities, just like humans. However, they express their emotions in a more cat-like manner. For example, if a neko was incredibly content, then they would purr. Alternatively, if the neko felt threatened, they would hiss, or unsheathe their claws.
- If a neko’s emotions are extreme enough, they may enter a frenzy known as Primality. Primality is more or less a blind rage, in which the neko acts feral. Primality is not permenant.

- Nekos have a very unique property. They have nine ‘lives’. This essentially means that if a Neko is on the verge of death, their body will essentially overclock itself, and regenerate damage taken. The neko will have a temporary boost of energy, speed, and strength. This does not apply if the neko takes damage that would mean instant death, like decapitation, being cut in half, and so on.
Once the neko reaches their last life, their body will lose any and all colour. Their eyes become grey, their fur is all white, and their voice also becomes much more monotone. They are more aware then ever before, as their body recognises that there is more risk.
Every 100 years, a neko will naturally lose a life.
Magic:
- Nekos are able to draw from their surroundings, and depending on the type of magic they’re born with, they can channel the energy into magic. Efficient use of this magic for prolonged amounts of time would require a lot of energy reserves, or a lot of training. For this reason, many Nekos find themselves training a lot, or eating a lot.
