This evening, at 7.30pm, the Band of Burns will be streaming a special 2-metres apart programme live from Norfolk. Some of us, myself included, can't personally be there because of current circumstances BUT we've made up for that by recording our own solo and collaborative segments for the programme. The final result will be a mixed broadcast of live performances, pre-recorded performances, split-screen collaborations and interviews. It's been a bit of experiment for us and a lot of work has gone into it... not to mention that some have travelled a fair distance to pull it off. It's an important thing for us to try to find ways to sustain ourselves during this time, so all thhe support we can get goes a long way. Beneath The Summer Moon: an evening with Band of Burns – LIVE
Exciting news… after many weeks of isolation, Band of Burns are finally able to bring you a special socially-distanced live TV show, on Sunday 28th June 19.30 – 21.00
With careful adherence to the most recent government guidelines on distancing measures, some of the band members will be meeting in the Norfolk countryside to play together for this special one-off live gig! Expect to see Rioghnach Connolly, Ellis Davies, Dila Vardar, John Langan, Ewan Macdonald, Maisie Greenwood and Fati Ebrem, plus many more if the situation permits.
The show – which will be broadcast on the brand new high-quality streaming platform URstage.net – will also feature music and interviews from the other band members out in Scotland, Ireland and beyond, as well as some entertaining updates on the band’s lockdown survival tactics…
A range of ticket prices are available depending on the level of support you’re able to give to the band – all proceeds will directly support the band members and technical crew through these tricky times, helping them to stay afloat so they can bring you more great music in future.
