about me!

hi, i'm minmix05! i'm an author on ao3, and i primarily write mingyu x reader nsfw fan fiction. (i don't use y/n) i wanted to make a cohesive post that explains more about my account, so here it is.

minors cannot interact. while i won't post anything explicit on here, my account is intended for adults, and i won't restrict suggestive language/talk (within reason). i cannot control every person's internet history, so if i do have reason to believe there is a minor on my account, they will be blocked.

adding onto that, i want to say upfront that i am not interested in mingyu, any seventeen idol, or any idol/real person celebrity, and i won't tolerate parasocial behavior that is possessive over them. personally, i'm in my twenties, and i'm not about to get with men who are pushing thirty. i respect that these are real people with lives that are meant to be private. my works won't have a clear characterization/f_tishization of mingyu (puppy, cute, etc.) because we as fans don't know them.

for clarification, i won't write anything with:

in-depth/intense violence, gore

specific f_tish content

minors (i.e. high school unless they're both 18)

step-siblings - anything around and beyond that territory

putting a_use of any sort in a positive light

non-con

d_ath

and as a small side note, i generally just write m/f!

all my works so far have been my own ideas, so they are largely domestic and short. however, if you do have requests beyond that, i'd love to hear them!

please do not ask for any information regarding my personal life (full name, birthday, where i live, school, job). just call me minmix05 :)

i'm open to online mutuals, and i'd love to talk to people! just do know i have a life outside of this, and online relations are not my priority

writing this as i just saw two of my works against better judgement and pick me up reached a thousand reads! actually crazy. i know i don't have a big platform at all but i'm just glad people are enjoying!! even seeing the first twenty people read my first work was so amazing, so this in a few months is genuinely jawdropping.

i originally began writing to end my chatbot addiction; many of my works are chatbot prompts i would often reach to back then. now, i haven't used it in months, and i'm in a better place overall. one person reading a fan fiction is one person not using gen ai.

i know i haven't posted in a while especially in the mingyu bf genre; i've been busy with school and i'm having finals this week. :,) i did start a little new story where you and mingyu travel back in time to possible reconcile past mistakes. have this crumb in the meanwhile and yeah i just wanted to come out to express my gratitude!

Another night, another fight where you had to straighten out Mingyu after he quit another job. The wrinkles and creases in your face were almost comfortable now, settling into the same anguished expression as you shouted and cried to this man. A man who was meant to be your husband, father to your daughter.

That was meant to imply someone you trusted and relied on, but that wasn't who you saw anymore.

Why couldn't he understand? With you at home to take care of your daughter, Mingyu was the only one who could bring an income home. Yet, he couldn't keep one for more than a month. He was still stubborn in his foolish dreams of pursuing music with his band, the same band that gets a gig at trashy bars once a month.

You kept saying this, and your words tonight were ones you've repeated over and over to no avail. Even now as you pled with him, he was just standing there. Doing nothing, a frustratingly guilty expression on his face as his eyes were downcast and his lip worried. Guilt wasn't enough to pay the bills.

"None of this would've happened if I didn't marry you," you sighed. You could see Mingyu tense at that. A part of your heart ached, but a bigger part just felt too fatigued to take it back. Deciding you were tired out, you began padding to the bedroom.

"Please, come back." Mingyu was still as his small and desperate words wallowed in the room, and you didn't look back. You were too tired, and your throat was too tight with tears to work anymore.

hello! i wanted to write something a little fun after finishing my last fic, so here is please don't judge me! it's a bit of a crack fic for me since the concept of mingyu being a shy half-incubus is funny to me. nonetheless, it's still a proper fic with spicy 18+ elements, so please enjoy.

here's a short sampler below. :)

When Seungkwan and Jun suggested that you should date, you scoffed a bit. I don't need a partner. I mean, I have my friends here, my family back home, and my job.

The thoughts seemed to be written all over your face because your friends exchanged a look before trying again.

Seungkwan spoke first. "Don't dismiss it right away, really! It adds something a little fun."

"Yeah, you're busy all the time, and don't deny that you're always drained by the weekend," Jun sighed, giving you a pointed look.

The clear sincerity in their faces gave you pause, and yeah, you were often tired, but that was just how it was. You had everything you wanted, so it came at a price. Plus, the thought of taking care of someone else made you tired already.

"It'll just be a burden. First, I need to find someone which is hard enough," you defended.

Not wanting to dwell on the topic too much, they just shrugged and talked about something else. The thought didn't leave their minds though because something all three of you had in common was being stubborn, for better or for worse.

A couple weeks passed, and you would practically forget about the conversation; until after a meeting, you checked your phone and saw that you got a text from the group chat.

"We found someone! When are you free?" Seungkwan typed.

Confusion washed over you. Did you forget about some plans you had with them? "Uhh, next Saturday I guess? What do you mean by you found someone?" you sent.

And that was when they had introduced a man named Mingyu, a coworker of Jun's who worked in architecture. Jun had recently met the guy in person at a happy hour; Mingyu worked remotely, but he was great in the social environment. Jun even sent over a picture, and yeah, he was good looking, but that didn't lessen your shock when Seungkwan further explained that the two of you now were meeting at a cafe next Saturday. What the hell, you didn't ask to be thrown into a date or any romance for that matter!

happy to say that both endings for against better judgement are finished! it's my longest work yet, so i hope you guys enjoy. exams have been taking away time for writing, but it's done, and that's what matters.

in honor of my most popular fic just a little reaching five hundred hits, here's a small portion of it for the wider internet. you're enjoying a movie night with your boyfriend mingyu when he starts to get a little excited!

this excerpt is a little suggestive, so be warned. or, if you're a freak, then be freaky?

Since tonight was a rom-com night per your boyfriend's request, it was getting to that part of the movie where the characters had that fight that could've been easily avoided by talking. Mingyu's hold on you tightens slightly, taking you out of your thoughts about the movie. Sniffles next to your ear could be heard as well which makes you smile a little as you turn your head back towards him.

"It's sad, isn't it?" you murmur, unable to hide the smile from your cheeks. His red eyes and tears beading his lashes are just too precious.

He only musters up a nod before he buries himself into your neck. "I need a kiss," he whispers against your skin. You don't protest against your boyfriend especially with his current bleeding heart, so you lift yourself up in order to face him fully. The brief loss of contact makes him clutch on tighter before he realizes what you were trying to do. It makes you laugh, surprise coming in at his strength. Mingyu really has been bulking up.

Finally face to face, you give him a look that's hopefully more calming than cocky, and it seems to work since his shoulders start to loosen, so you lean in for a chaste kiss. It's soft, lingering only for a second before you two pull away to breathe. Mingyu doesn't wait much longer for a second kiss, a third, a fourth...

"Okay, okay," you laugh against his nose. "I distinctly remember you saying that you need a kiss," you continue before looking back into Mingyu's eyes. The typically lighthearted and homely brown hues shift more towards swirling nerves. Mingyu doesn't often display anxiety so clearly especially in such a comfy environment. Your eyes drift down to his worried lip, and confusion clouds your head until you feel an unmistakeable firmness under your thigh. 

Unsure of what to do, Mingyu only hugs you tighter to him. "I-I'm sorry...I...I knew exercising increases libido, but I've been having so many...thoughts," he confesses against the collar of your shirt. The words come in shaky and hot across your neck, and it fills you with a rare sense of adrenaline. Being restricted by Mingyu's increasingly desperate hold, your heart pounds, and you're sure he feels it too. Your relationship isn't regularly intimate, the private times generally tame when they come, but you don't feel scared of this. A big part of you wants to fan the flames just to see where it goes.

sneak peek into the alternate ending I'm writing for against better judgement! it's a mingyu x you (m/f) fic that takes place at a house party, and you get into a messy game of seven minutes in heaven.

For a second, the two of you just stood there. "I'm glad it was you," you started, figuring Chan was getting tired from the night and needed help beginnging the conversation.

He looked up at you with slight surprise before he just nodded with a slight laugh. His eyes squinted shut as they normally did when he laughed, head tilted. "Same. I'm surprised the bottle didn't land on either of us up to this point."

You hadn't really thought of it in that way since you were mostly focused on hoping you didn't get paired with Mingyu. But you supposed it was an interesting coincidence. "Yeah, true. I didn't realize that," you hummed. "I'm sure the ladies missed you," you added with a smile as you swatted his shoulder.

Chan's arm stilled a bit at the gesture which made you wonder if his social battery was really that drained. Normally, he was high energy for at least three hours.

"Nah, they'll survive," he chuckled. "I'm sure Mingyu's jealous right now though." He looked up tentatively with something that almost looked like anticipation.

That made you pause. This was not where you expected the conversation to go. In fact, it was probably the last place you wanted it. "What makes you say that? He's probably already off with another girl by now," you muttered.

The boy opposite of you didn't react much. "Come on, you didn't see how he was looking at you for the entirety of the game?" he questioned. His tone was weirdly serious, and it was unlike the usual lightheartedness he had in his voice, especially at a party. Admittedly, you did see that Mingyu was sneaking glances at you, but he always did that because he was just a weirdo.

"What? But that doesn't mean he likes me," you laughed. "He's an idiot! You know that just as well as me." You looked into Chan's expression, trying to pull some sense out of his strange state. You couldn't understand what was making him act so abnormally.

He just clicked his tongue. "And idiots can't like you?" he replied. "It's clear he wants you as his next girl."

Shock was stacking up in your chest. Shock that Chan was being so observant of Mingyu, shock at his blunt words, shock at his frustrated demeanor. He hardly mentioned or even acknowledged the guy before. "Why are you pressing this so much? We could talk about literally anything else."

"Because!" he sighed. In an attempt to calm himself, he looked up at a hanger for a second to take a breath. "Because. I'm your friend, and I know what I see. I'm just trying to help."

You were getting mad too now. You just wanted to chill with your friends tonight, not think about Mingyu for the umpteenth time. Why couldn't Chan of all people see that? "Are you? Because I'm pretty clearly saying I don't want to talk about Mingyu, and yet, here we are!" you retorted. You didn't like raising your voice at one of your closest friends, but you just wanted this to stop.

"Well, if you didn't want to talk about him so bad, you would stop looking at him!" he snapped. His hands jutted out to comb through his hair, rattling the hangers beside him.

You took a step back at his outburst. What did that mean? Chan wanted you to stop merely glancing at Mingyu? "What does this even have to do with you?" you whispered.

At that moment, you heard someone knocking at the door. Time must've been up. Although, when the door creaked open, it came to reveal a confused Mingyu who was standing in front of an equally awkward circle of people. Clearly, your conversation was not quiet.

"What's going on in here?" Mingyu asked.

new mingyu x reader writer

hello, i'm minmix05; i recently started writing short nsfw, no y/n use fanfics for mingyu x reader on ao3! i'm new to writing fan fiction, and i started just under a month ago. i wanted to get on tumblr to promote my works, so i can find more people who are interested in them. :)

on my tumblr, along with writing updates, i hope to post small snippets that are sfw from my works.

i do want to emphasize that almost all my works are explicit, so while i'll post small sfw snippets from them, i don't want minors to interact with this account or my ao3 account.

as another note, i currently write to my preferences which are mainly in domestic settings, and my works don't contain any specific f_tish content. so excluding that, i am open to suggestions and requests! i'd love to hear what people have to say and any ideas!

with that aside, i just posted a new fic called against better judgement. it takes place in university where you and mingyu are academic rivals-turned-lovers at a house party!

this one is my sixth work and took me the longest to write. many people have read it so far, and a couple people bookmarked already, so i hope anyone who reads this post and decides to read it too likes it as well!
