A/N For Jill: Thanks for responding to my ask @jillys-feral-fandoms . Here’s a little drabble using the lines you gave me.

Pairing: Kate Bishop (MCU) x Reader

A/N: You have been working all week and you’re boss won’t give you a single break. She fired her assistant and has been using you as an assistant, but you still have to do your real job. If you don’t, your boss will be down a journalist as well. Today is your first real day off in the last two weeks.

You get a phone call, F.R.I.D.A.Y. says “Your Boss is calling.”

“Ugh, I’m getting it.” You pick up the phone. “Hello?”

“Hey (Y/N), I want you to…” she starts.

You cut her off. “Sorry, I’m sick today and it’s my day off. If you don’t mind, I would like to rest.

“Of course, feel better (Y/N).” She responds.

“Thank you, bye.” You hang up before she changes her mind.

A few hours later…

You hear a knock at the door. “Come in, it’s open.”

“You really shouldn’t leave your door unlocked. You never know who could be at the door.” You hear your favorite voice say.

“Hey Kate. What’re you doing here?” You ask.

“Just came by to check on you.” She realizes your sitting on the couch in a mountain of blankets. “How many blankets do you own?”

“I dunno, but I could always use more.” You smirk. “Want to join me in my mountain of sorrows and blankets?”

“Always.” She replies.
