Last lesson of the year, struggled a bit with the speaking part but quite happy with how they're going lately. Didn't do much more studying, but had the radio playing in the background while I started working in one of the three projects I need to finish by mid-january if I wanna apply for studies next year. I'm not getting my hopes up at all cause there's very limited spots in what I want, but gonna try send the application nonetheless! Have a nice weekend y'all <3

i love studying. i love writing. i love reading. i love learning languages. i love doing mathematics. i love wandering over some particular sum and trying to come up with formulas to solve it. i love physics. i love biology. i love chemistry. i love history. i love literature. i love learning.

not to achieve the perfect grades ever. but it just amazes me that there's so much to know and learn and write and read about in the universe. my curiosity wouldn't get enough of it.

Spent a lot of time with my friend today and I'm actually really relieved. We talked about a bunch of stuff and baked cookies. I am honestly in love with her. Relatively lazy day but I'll get back on track tomorrow. I have a competition on the 7th which I feel so unprepared for but at least we'll have fun (hopefully)

we are getting to that point in the winter when it has been cold for too long and my ability to function is rapidly decreasing. i need to make things easier for myself by staying organized and breaking tasks into tiny pieces. here are my goals for the next several days.

today: send crispr spreadsheet to marta so she can check my constructs; grind leaf tissue for monday

this weekend: finish next week's homework for experimental design

monday: second practice dna extraction with the new protocol, using the same two samples as last time; choose a method to approach dmr identification

tuesday: start dmr identification; make outline for meeting

wednesday: 9am meeting; continue dmr identification
