In the process of moving @missionimmortal to a new page that isn’t a sideblog. The new blog is @missionimmortal-rp until I can turn this one into an archive and get the other one’s name changed. It’s extremely bare-bones right now. I’m moving my theme and all my pages over there.

“Sweetness, you’re …” Benji seemed too weak to stand, and Ethan smelled a drug in his system that he couldn’t identify. He only knew it was a drug, something unnatural. “I couldn’t leave you behind.”
He scooped Benji up into his arms. “I’ve got you if you’re too unsteady to walk. Arms … around my neck?” He paused, then took a good look at Benji, breathed deeply, catching a more familiar scent than the unknown drug. “Other vampires. Damn. No wonder you can’t remember.” Ethan closed his eyes for just a moment. Benji was already shaken up. Ethan didn’t want Benji to see his eyes blaze in anger.
He began carrying Benji to the car. “Let’s get you warm, clean, fed. Don’t be scared. Whatever happened, it’s over now. Just hang on and don’t worry about anything else.” Gently, he placed Benji in the passenger seat. “You’re safe. you’re safe.”
Hearing Ethan’s voice again was enough to overwhelm Benji with relief, and feeling his arms around him helped to ground him. He was there. Everything would be ok. Carefully, he did as he was told and held onto Ethan’s neck, looking into Ethan’s eyes and taking in the reality that he was there.
“Vampires… That explains a lot.” he whispered, wishing he could remember something more, but he kept coming up empty. Burying his face in Ethan’s shoulder, Benji took a deep breath and tried to calm himself, knowing that he could not let himself lose his mind. He needed to remain together to try and figure this all out.
“Yeah… Yeah that sounds good.” he replied, settling into the seat and fumbling for his seatbelt. Reaching out, he grabbed Ethan’s hand before he could move, meeting the other man’s gaze. “Thank you, Ethan…” He didn’t want to admit how worried he was, but he knew Ethan would see it in his eyes.
“Kaz is coming to see if he can’t help with your memories in a little while, but I think you and I should spend this first night by ourselves. I missed you so much and I want to take the chance to take care of you.”
“I don’t want to push you to remember, not tonight.” Benji likely had some blood loss as well as the remnants of the drug in his system. “You need your strength and you need to be as far away from that damn building as I can get you.”
It would take them maybe a half hour, but it would be worth it to get to a larger town than the tiny podunk near the place Benji had been dumped. Ethan wanted a comfortable hotel for them both. “We’re not going to be on the road that long, Benj. If there was a bigger city nearby, I’d be deferring expenses to the nicest place I can find.” He took one hand off the wheel to hold Benji’s wrist, rubbing his thumb along it. “We’re going to the first hotel with room service and a good bed that I see.”
Ethan put on the local classical station. “Just listen to the music and know that I’m here.”
Seriously thinking of archiving this site and creating a non-sideblog @missionimmortal. Fresh start, and will let me create this as a main so I can follow people properly.

It had only been a few hours since Benji had called Ethan, disoriented and scared, after waking up in an abandoned building. Benji had been on a solo mission, and a significant amount of time had passed since his last check in. Ethan hadn’t been that worried; sometimes radio silence was required for a while.
But Benji had called him with memory loss and a dead body not far from him. He’d requisitioned the CIA’s jet, and had taken to the road when the plane could take him no further. The location was outside a very small town in New York State, close to a national forest, and Ethan drove with all the skill he had to get there quickly.
He peeled into the gravel and overgrown grass surrounding the structure. “About 100 yards straight ahead,” Luther informed over the phone. But Ethan was running as soon as his feet hit the ground. He took in great breaths of air through his nose, trying to catch the beloved scent through a haze of rust and dusty concrete. “Benji!!!”
“Benji, I’m here! Answer me!” Ethan hoped Benji would hear him as he kicked down the nearest door.
He wasn’t entirely sure when he had fallen asleep, but the shouting from outside followed by the banging on the door caused him to startle back to consciousness. Instinctively, as he remained in that half-sleeping space, he tensed for any kind of fight, however when he realised whose voice it was, that tension turned to relief.
Ethan was there…
He was in the process of dragging himself to the door when it burst open and he saw his partner on the buildings veranda, causing him to become overwhelmed by a mixture of emotions.
“Ethan…” Getting to his feet, barely, he moved over to the other man, before his legs gave out on him once he wrapped his arms around Ethan. Whatever had left him out of it was making it difficult for him to stay standing, and he dropped to the wooden floorboards of the room, holding Ethan close. “Thank you for coming…. Thank you.”

Imagine if the CIA had access to Ethan’s file regarding the experimentation. Imagine if Walker had been given access to it before working with Ethan. “I know what you’re capable of - - - it’s why I made such a public escape. You can’t display what you are where people might see.”
“I know exactly how to hurt you, too. With all your powers, you still don’t stand a chance.”

(I may be going through the longest creative dry spell I’ve gone through in years, but, dammit, I am not giving up. Sure, I have never been a popular blog, but I love the rp partners I do have. AU or not, I’m the longest continuously-running Ethan Hunt RP on this hellsite, and I’m not going to lay down and die because I have a hard time putting words to screen.)

Ethan smiled. “I want people to be jealous that I you have me on your arm. I want to make myself easy to notice. It’s why I dressed so well.”
Ethan’s smile faded when she asked if Vos was likely to make a move “Absolutely. Word has it he changes shape, so he can slip past the cameras. Vampires can sense their own, but I don’t sense him yet. He’ll scent me, though. He’s older, has more diverse powers, but I at least match him in training. I want him to know I’m here protecting you. I know it’ll shake him, to see a vampire at your side.”
“I wouldn’t be so bold to say I’ve claimed you. I don’t think anyone can do that. But your love for my teeth in your neck will definitely say something for him. It’s something we can tell even when the wound is healed, though not, say through a photograph or screen. I’ve fed on you and you’re well and healthy. To a vampire, that means a human means something to another. It’ll say I’m willing to fight.”
“He’ll know that I’m going to make this hard on him, that I’m willing to go to lengths to protect you. Probably won’t stop him completely, but it might make him reassess his contract.”
(I haven’t written in a long time. I have time right now, but no motivation. TBH, I need to talk to my RP partners. To just-get excited about threads again. I haven’t written anything, even outside of RP, for a while. I miss it, but I don’t know how to move forward right now.)
This version of Ethan losing his memory and not understanding why he has this horrible thirst that won’t go away, why food makes him sick, or why the sun makes him tired and eventually begins to hurt after a while. Not to mention why people are trying to kill him.

“As much as I love the fact I can have some private time with you, you’re a remarkable young woman and they should pay you more attention.” He sighed as she stroked his thighs. His fingers worked the straps of the cocktail dress down, and his hands lightly glided down the back, unzipping the gown.
He worked the fabric down her body, giving her a gentle, appreciative smile as he exposed more skin. She was sexy, yes, but in some ways, seemed so delicate. Ethan knew for a fact that she would not break, but Eva looked the part of otherworldly creature much more than he himself did.
He nuzzled her neck, have her gentle brushes of lips and tongue. “You know I wouldn’t want you if you were just beautiful and nothing else.”
Sitting still as Ethan worked on removing her dress, taking in just what he was saying in his words. She had always seen herself as just a pretty daughter of a senator, just there to play the part. Hearing what he had to say was a little overwhelming to the young woman.
Once the dress was undone, Eva smiled and stood up, allowing the fabric to fall to the floor, leaving her bra-less with just her panties on before him, and she had to admit, something about being in such a state of undress while Ethan wore that handsome suit left her eager.
“Thank you, Ethan.” she whispered, before leaning in and capturing his lips in a passionate kiss.
This is the tattoo that Thief!Ethan has across his back and shoulders. In order for a vampire’s tattoo to take in my mythology, the ink needs to be mixed with garlic derivatives (and maybe other various herbs unfriendly to vampires-hawthorn is the only one I can think of atm. Vervain in the Vampire Diaries was made up for the show/books.) and delivered with a very hot needle or the ink will dissolve. It is a very painful process. To get one as big as Ethan has it would mark him out to be a badass among his kind.

Ethan had decided to escort Alanna. Zola was not happy about the prospect, but, then again, he was soured by Ethan’s presence alone. When Zola had railed at him about people thinking that Ethan was her new boyfriend, Ethan had chuckled. “Let them think so. Let Vos think so. I want him to think he needs to take me out if he takes her. Let him realize I’m not taking her out of my sight.”
“I’m not angling to be your brother-in-law, understand? She and I realized long ago that it wouldn’t work like that. She’s just as untameable as she ever was, not that I would want to. She wouldn’t hesitate to kill me in my sleep if I didn’t toe the line. I know the only reason you don’t is that she’d be upset.”
Ethan smoothed the lapels of his deep grey suit jacket, which lay over a blue shirt that picked up the cool tones in the grey. It was a sharp design; Ethan wanted to make an impression. He walked into her room at her order. He smiled. “You look gorgeous. Breathtaking. Which is perfect. It not only shows your authority, but the more visible you are, the harder it will be to get you away from witnesses.”
“Thought I might play something a bit closer than just a bodyguard tonight.”
