Less active time on social media planned
Hi,
So I started an experiment a few weeks ago and deleted Tumblr and Instagram. Because I was doomscrolling a lot and also my lack of attention was starting to annoy me, coupled with fear of missing out all the time and the need for a 2nd screen. Pretty unnerving.
After these few weeks I noticed some improvements and currently I'm not planning on re-installing Tumblr or Instagram anytime soon. I sometimes have a look in the browser versions and might reblog or post something, but not as often and as consistently as I used to do.
So please just notice that I will reduce my time on social media for an unforeseen while, just because it's better for many aspects of my personal and mental health.
