yeah, i was in town for mothers day, and i've been doing better, so....

-shrugs- figured i'd drop by. don't really know if i'll have another chance at going to a real prom, so... yeah.

its not about replacing things, silly… i’ll always love you. i do love you. and it makes me incredibly happy to know that you had someone here to help you through that…. 

i wish i could’ve been here, but…. -sighs and holds her close- i can’t make that type of promise, and we both know that. i’m really really glad you have someone who can be that person for you….

if she makes you happy... do what will make you happy, baby. 

-looks back up at her- i wouldn't ever want you to hold back because you were afraid, because thats not who you are. i especially wouldn't want you to hold back from what makes you happy because you were worried it would hurt me. 

-sighs and looks down, holding her close- we all do what we have to do, right? -bittersweet smile-

she helped me see… build up currage to talk to my ma…. and then my ma… heh…. she helped me make this dress.

….. i can never replace you… i know that…. but i also know i… she means a lot to me too. You both are incredible…

being on break doesn't mean that the other people you get involved with are disposable... i know.... after all, you're incredible, so i wouldn't expect you to settle for anything less than that. -swallows-
