I've been thinking about growing it out...But days like this make me want to keep it short.
I guess the upside of having short hair is that if you sleep in for some reason...Like you stayed up and slept right through your alarm...It looks alright if you don't brush it.

you read the instructions and you follow them. they’re there for a reason. experimentation is left to those who are experienced—but experimentation is not going above the measured cooking time. or butter, at that. extra oil based ingredients are added to taste, but in baked goods that is not acceptable.
this recipe is… good. it’s simple. follow it. you can substitute the all purpose flour with cake flour, if you want. sometimes it’s cheaper, but it does the same thing for baked goods. don’t experiment or cut corners until you’re experienced.

… how did you prepare them? did you use the correct settings for the stove? i’ve seen the school kitchens. they’re absolute shit. you have to be careful with them. show me what you followed. the recipe, i mean.
Um...Well okay. I found this recipe online before I went to school that day (and I found some videos so I could take notes! I do a lot better when I can watch someone make the food, first...) I followed it pretty closely, I think, but I used more butter...
When I put them in the oven, I turned the heat up a lot so they would cook faster...So I could taste them sooner.

Well, I wasn't trying to cook just now, so you don't have to worry about that! I was just referencing my last post...Uh....
I want to give up on it sometimes, but then....I can't just give up on everything any time it gets hard, can I? And it doesn't make sense to get mad and give up just because I'm not good at something right away.
I won't grow as a person if I try to do that.
