Thursday, Thursday, gotta ship everything on Thursday.

Every Thursday, the team of Mocha&Co has now decided, we will be doing two things:

1) We will be shipping your orders. Shipment will not take place on any other day of the week. If you order, say, a cellphone pouch on Wednesday, and we have all the materials on hand, and the time it requires to be made, then it will be shipped to you by Thursday. On the other hand, if you order a big crochet bag on Wednesday, then that will be pretty much impossible to make and ship the very next day. To ensure you get your desired items on time, make sure you order well before Thursday rolls around. 2) The second thing we'll be doing is uploading new stuff every Thursday only. And for every week, we will have a set 'theme' in mind. For example, next week, we might make up our minds to only make crochet berets. Therefore, the coming Thursday, your newsfeed will be flooded with many cute crochet berets. The next week, we might fancy doing a line of crochet necklaces -- and that is what you will get then.

So proud of myself today! Managed to make this fun owl crochet bag in approximately five hours! I love its pinkness and its cuteness! The best part is that it looks uber chic with a pair of normal blue jeans, and a casual t-shirt. I'm thinking about maybe doing a tutorial for this.

What say? Any biters?

Turning A New Leaf

As Edwin Louis Cole once said, “You don't drown by falling in the water; you drown by staying there.”

As many of you must know, I fell in some pretty deep water a couple of months back. There was an issue with copyright, and it was ruddled with confusion, miscommunication, and a bunch of back-and-forth long comment fests that didn't really get anyone anywhere. That went on for about a day or two, after which the tide swept in and threatened to take me away. My page would have been shut down if I had not taken immediate action, and so I did what I thought would be the best option to save my page: I ran.

Because as John Harrison so wisely stated, "I didn't feel that running away would change anything but when the roof of the garage started coming off I thought it was time to go."

And time to go it was. Mocha & Co disappeared from Facebook, and went under some pretty intense rehabilitation. It was a crocheting frenzy, I tell ya.

And...now we're back. :) And we've made some pretty things that we hope you might like. Complete with a new look, many new changes, and - here's what you might like the best - completely revised prices (everything is much cheaper now), Mocha&Co is ready to put the past behind it and move on.
