We made you a little shitty shrine and wrote you notes that we buried in the sand. We said some words and I recited a poem I wrote for you. I think you would have hated it.

It just doesn't make sense. How can you be there one second then just... Not be there? You were 1 phone call away. Now where are you? I don't understand.
Your father tried his hardest to console us. Some of us were trainwrecks. But he fought through his own pain. He knew how much your friends meant to you.
Your brothers face all torn up. He tried to be brave. He really did. But he couldn't hold it back.
I was at your home, without you, for 5 hours. Your mother cried the entire time.
You know I didn't believe it, I thought it was one of their crazy pranks and I'd get to your house and you'd jump out and yell surprise! But when I got there mark hugged me like he never has before and cried deeply into my shoulder and I knew.
I need to leave in 2 hours and I can't sleep
I went to see Dylan Moran in the city on Tuesday, needless to say he was absolutely hilarious, though I'll say it away.
What's in the box!?
Sometimes when it's really late and I can't sleep I like to go through my activity log, Not out of some need for ego boosting or anything, Rather I look at what type of people prefer what music. And I'm always please to find that it doesn't matter which song I posted, Be it bright eyes, Manchester orchestra, keaton Henson or even classical music, I never really can definitively group them into 'types of people' Because it's always so diverse, I'm always so flabbergasted by this I find it so amazing such different people can like totally different things in some aspects of life, and still enjoy the same music, It truly is a great uniting force. Then again what do I know, it's 7 am and I'm yet to sleep.
When you accidentally hand your resume into the rta
Here's Kevin Devine.
He opened for Manchester Orchestra when I went to see them last year.
He was amazing.
The emotion is palpable.
How would I describe Old Gray?
Take the amazing musical background of Explosions in the sky.
Add the stylings and spontaneity of Say Anything.
And mix in the raw emotion of Connor Oberst.
And one other ingredient but that's a secret.
I was going to upload the acoustic version from Big Footprints.
But it doesn't have the amazing spoken word part.
So... enjoy.
Intensity, In Ten Cities
A hero contemplates his own mortality
And whether or not action in life has any real meaning.
A stranger's loneliness binds him to an astral plane.
A princess' fears are realised, she pays the ultimate price.
A king's futile quest for companionship leaves him with
Bitterness and Anger, as he leaves behind a path of destruction.
In a private place, away from prying ears, a queen sings of her tale
Of lost connection between her and the King,
Memories lost but not forgotten.
An angels celestial birth.
The coming of doomsday.
A noble sacrifice.
Awakening.

All this in under 12 minutes.
Adventure Time gets really intense sometimes.
God is Dead.
We were discussing Asgeir at a gathering tonight. So here's some Asgeir.
Covering Sound of Silence.

If you haven't already the Big Fat Quit of the Year for 2014 is out so go see it. David Mitchell and Richard Ayoade are on the same team, two of my favourite people. This should be good.
I'm too tired to find a new song to post and come up with something funny or meaningful so instead; here's Rob Thomas singing Time After Time.
It's quite good.
"Good News Everyone!"
Prismo is back!
YES.
I really liked how they did it.
