I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I've ended up right where I needed to be ♡ pretty power thoughts once you stop and think about. We all have this plan for what our life will be like, what we will grow up to be, where we will live, who we will marry, how long our happily ever after will last ... all the things. But the truth is, no matter how much manifesting, praying and hustling we do - we will be brought right where He intended. Things happen that are out of our control, we can thank the sins of the world for that ... but I am living proof that we are right where we need to be. Can you handle that? Will you be miserable or will you embrace it? Will you choose joy and love the moments you were given today? ... all while hustling hard towards your dreams? Week 1 of getting my shit together. 《before photos》 ...now before you start with your, "you're so skinny ... you look great ... omg, you don't need to work out" ima stop ya right there. Even before I hopped on the scale {not going to lie, it stung seeing it ...especially beings I know it's not muscle because I've been out of the gym for over a year}, I knew I needed to do something... I can feel it in every fiber of my being. Numbers don't mean much to me because I know what my body feels like when it's running at optimal capacity. Now, ya...I'm a momma ...it's been almost 9 years since my beautiful body created another being. And yes, my ass giggles when I jump, my love handles are a little more loveable these days and my tris wave before my hand does - but that's not what bothers me. What I am having a hard time with is being TIRED all of the time, being winded going up a flight of stairs, being completely unmotivated in every aspect of my life, playing catch up and living a life that doesn't even look like mine ...who is this mombie I've become?! So. I'm doing something about it. I'm going to get back to waking up every day, feeling like the world ain't got nothing I can't conquer 👊 because honestly, what's the point if you're not going to give it all you've got. ... one of my goals each year is to earn a free trip for two - to a crazy amazing place. All expenses paid. What gets me so excited about these trips is, we would never spend the time & money it takes to go on these dream vacations {every year - just the two of us} ♡ so they are a reason TO GO, without feeling guilt of splurging. But what's even more, I get teary eyed at the fact that we are able to go because of something I worked so hard for!! It may not seem like a big deal to a lot of ppl, but to me it means the world to be able to bring us somewhere so beautiful and not have to spend thousands of our hard earned dollars ♡♡♡ I have a lot of work left to do, but I will have us sitting on the beach come April!! After a week of being down and out ... followed by a weekend of traveling + business & even a little {too much} fun... I'm super chill today...and am totally going to take a nap. #slowdown ...and because I can, I will forgo my desk today. #happyMonday Working from home, being your own boss, isn't for the faint of heart #truthbomb don't get me wrong, it DEFINITELY has it's perks...but it can be easy to let your job take over. Don't let it!! Set those office hours babe ♡ Going into my busiest season of life in business, I know I will have super intentional on all the things!! & that includes rest. ...this week has been crazy {I'm sure 99% of you can relate} While we may not be in the path of a hurricane, our world was rearranged {back into order?!} this week #backtoschool... and MOM was sick the entire time. 🤕😝😒 even tho I set that alarm for 6:15a, dreading hearing it going off ...I drug my exhausted body out of bed and got the little off to school ... oh how i wanted to stay in bed! #momlife But you know what, I am SUPER thankful to have been able to cuddle back up after that and REST. What is that anyway?! I think I forgot ... naps. I took actual naps. Long. Uninterrupted naps. My body was screaming for me to take a breath!! Such a blessing to be able to work on my own schedule, from my bedside table. I couldn't imagine calling in somewhere all week - nor could have I gotten back to 100% without taking some time!! #blessings #thankful #wahm

This past weekend, I was sitting there, enjoying a cup of coffee, just reflecting about my journey.... I am so THANKFUL to be able to work from wherever the wind blows me ♡ #realtalk This little nail biz of mine is more than just pretty nails ... for the last {almost} 3 years, I have made so many new girl friends - from all over the world! ...this is a big deal, considering I live in the tiny, remote area of Roseau, MN...population of like 12 -haha!! My newfound love for pretty nails {ya, before jamberry I painted my nails maybe 2x year} has changed my life!! #clichebutno The friendships, the confidence, the self growth and purpose are priceless. This journey has also allowed me to treat my little family so many extras that we wouldn't have allowed ourselves! It has paid for my daughter to be in dance, hockey, volleyball, tennis and voice lessons // it has sent my farmer and I to tropical lands every spring // it has allowed me to treat myself and not feel guilty // it gives me an excuse to travel // it has also allowed me to be at home, full time! So basically as I sit here and ramble ... I just want to say THANK YOU x1000, because when you shop with me, share my page, take a photo of your gorgie nails and tag me, host a party or share my name with a friend - you are making a huge wave in my world!!
