Vote not out of hatred and desperation; vote because you believe that there is still hope.”

Lepke table - David Szabo
This transformable coffee table (named Lepke, to mean ‘butterfly’ in Hungarian) is all about being adjustable… a trait derived from the metamorphosis of butterflies. Transformable by its owners - meaning they themselves are able to shape its form and characteristics - this simple piece of furniture is constructed from timber and placed along two parallel joints upon which the slats move in sequence; creating the wave effect of the adjusted table. The joints are simply tightened when the desired shape is achieved; holding the piece in place.
It’s all part of the designer’s philosophy of creating a stronger connection between the design and the user. See more at: Lepkedesign
