Google researchers, in collaboration with the Belvedere museum and Klimt experts, have digitally recreated what Gustav Klimt’s long lost paintings would have looked like in color using artificial intelligence. The “Faculty Paintings” were believed to have been destroyed in WW2 with only a handful of black and white photos remaining of their existence.
